Phoenix should be Black Mask.

Phoenix would make a good Black Mask.

But I want Leonardo DiCaprio for that part.

Ever since Phoenix break-through roll in 'Walk the Line' he will get a lot of attention. Phoenix could act very well before that movie. 'Walk the Line' just put him into the mainstream. Congrats to Phoenix on a fine performance in 'Walk the Line'.

Yes, I also agree. Phoenix would be an good choice.

McKenzie Crook as Joker.

(See The Office UK Sitcom, plays gareth also in Pirates of Carribian)

Dicaprio would actually do the role justice.

Considering Pearce has worked with Nolan before,he would be great.

I see it clearly, but Schrieber could do just the same.

I agree with BATMAN, Phoenix would be better as Black Mask/Roman.

Exactly he'd be more suitable for that type of role.

If Schreiber is WB's and Nolan's choice, he'd be fine by me. He's a fine actor, and does resemble Tim Sale's version of the character. My personal choice remains Sarsgaard, but I would not mind Schreiber at all.

I am for Schreiber to play Two Face all the way. I can't imagine anyone else playing that role.

Lucas talks Harvey and I forgot one!

Sunday, January 8, 2006 - 1:00 PM, 6:23 PM CENTRAL TIME: My friends over at IESB.NET sent word that they had the chance to talk to actor Josh Lucas, recently rumored to be "getting some run" as a potential Harvey Dent in the BEGINS sequel. "You are the second person [to ask about the Dent rumor] -- I heard that yesterday, that would be cool," the actor told interviewer Robert Sanchez. The actor said that he hasn't been approached, "but that [geting offered the part] would be totally great. I love BATMAN BEGINS, it was magnificent."
We've been told by several sources that Liev Schreiber is the front runner for the role of Gotham's newly minted District Attorney. Perhaps when discussing casting, someone said, "What about Josh Lucas as Dent." Visit IESB.NET for the full interview...

Liev DAMMIT!

Schreiber Dammit!!!!! :d

I like the fact Josh Lucas is starting to show intrest, when he says something about Batman Begins being "magnificent" you cant get more then that. Its like Adrien Brody when he said he enjoyed BB and talked about playing the Joker in yesterdays rumor mill.Personally Schrieber as I said will always be my front runner, but Im keeping my mind open minded on some other casting choices.

#1 choice is: Liev Schreiber. He's got the looks, build and voice for the role. He's a good actor as well and would surely nail the duality of the character.

In no order:

Julian McMahon- Great on Nip Tuck(he CAN be charming) and a very good actor too. He has the right kind of look for the character, with a good voice(not quite as Two Face sounding as Liev) and great intensity. He could play both faces very well.

Kiefer Sutherland- He's a great character actor with a great face for the role, as he can look soft and harsh as well. His voice is almost perfect for Two Face, and despite his short stature, he could easily pull of a shorter, slightly older version of Harvey. Actuall he's only a year older than Liev I think.

That's it! I'm vouching for Liev all the way!

Have any of you seen Jetts cast for the sequel? Its his thoughts on who should play who,its quite interesting. He gave reasons along with short bios on the villains.

Roman Sionis, aka “Black Mask”

Roman Sionis was born into one of Gotham’s wealthiest, well-to-do business families -- the owners of Janus Cosmetics. After the death of his parents (by a fire set by Roman himself) Sionis inherited his family’s business -- and then proceeded to run it into the ground. He was eventually bailed out by billionaire Bruce Wayne when Bruce bought the company. Roman, seeing this as an insult and losing face, made a mask out of his father’s coffin lid, and became the criminal Black Mask.
This role was the toughest for me to “cast.” Sionis is susposed to be the opposite of Bruce Wayne -- a wealthy heir who goes bad instead of good. I figured you would need to choose someone around the same age as Bale who is a fairly good-looking guy.
My first inclination was to put X-MEN star Hugh Jackman in the role. Jackman is fairly well known and many fans have suggested the 37 year old Aussie for the part. Plus, Jackman will soon be working with BEGINS star Christian Bale and director Christopher Nolan on THE PRESTIGE. But that was too easy. But I guess I’m still going to be a little lazy here by choosing someone with ties to Mr. Nolan. I’d cast Nolan’s MEMENTO star Guy Pearce as Black Mask. For one thing, I think he has the acting chops for the role. Secondly, I am of the opinion that Pearce would be up for a smaller role such as Roman Sionis (similar is scale to Dr. Jonathan Crane in BEGINS), rather than a major role --and two films -- like Harvey Dent/Two Face.

For instance he casted Black Mask since their are many possibilities he might show up and fued with both Batman and Bruce Wayne.Pearce is a great choice who I never thought of for the role, and has the definetive look when you look at him.Since he worked with Nolan before,he should be taken into consideration for this part. He'd be great.

There are more casting choices here, like Sarah Essen and Salvatore Maroni here.http://www.batman-on-film.com/opinion_jett_castingthesequel.html
