The Dark Knight Harvey Dent/Two Face Thread

I just noticed this, and I really love what Team Nolan did with Two-Face, but I just realized that Aaron's LEFT eye is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT after being CG'd. What? Yeah, his LEFT eye apparently was just copied and pasted from his RIGHT. All you have to do is look at the glare on both eye's to see that they're the same. I'm sorry for pointing this out, but if they can do all what they did, I would expect them to have crossed all of their T's and you know what to their I's. It just was odd to me, any agree?

Not... really. Can't the glare still be the same cause the same amount of light is shining on them from the same angle?

technically, Yes. BUT, it IS different in the original image of Aaron, and then it is exactly the same (the L and R eye) in the final version. It should have carried over. What's the deal? Nothing too bad, I love this Two-Face. They probably used the same eye for VISUAL STRENGTH, and it worked.

I was very disappointed to hear that Nolan intended Dent to be dead in the end of the film.

But I still don't really believe it.

I see no problem in Two-face dying... Eckhart gave the performance of his life with a great character in a truly amazing film. Good a note as any to go out on.

But it's like Nolan said... he only focused on this story alone and nothing beyond it. And for this story... Two-face really did need to die IMO...

Is it me or did anyone find the final scene with Two-Face threatening Gordon's family to be the best and strongest scene in the entire movie?

I've been thinking this for a while. But do any of you think Jon Hamm from AMC's "Mad Men" would of made a good Harvey Dent? I think he could have.

Not really. It's of couse redone with the exact same light...but it's a fully digital eye, based on his right.

That was probably the most intense. Here you had the heroes of the story and the one who had the most promise was about to kill them and a little boy. The speech about what was fair and justice was well delivered and then came him pointing the gun at the little boy and telling the father to lie and say it was going to be okay, and it was a 50/50 chance of the kid surviving due to a coin!

So, im not going to look through 480 pages of posts, but how much has been said regarding Batman in fact killing Harvey Dent and actually betraying what he stood for? I feel like that has been an over-looked fact.

There have been a couple threads and discussions about what batman has done could possibly be considered "breaking his one rule"

Did Batman break his one rule?

Is Batman to blame for Harvey's death too?

Batman survives the fall, but Dent doesn't

:brucebat: :2face:

I think its cool it says matilda and i don't see why it would be taken out. I think thats a cute little nod

So you do think it says 'Matilda' or something at least.

I don't know why no one wants to shoot me down some more after my last post regarding it. :whatever:

who knows, I just get tired of arguing so thats why I don't respond all the time so maybe they are just tired.

Ha, I can learn so much from the Captain :hoboj:

but it irritates me sometimes, I dunno.

Did you see the screencap I posted?

That's what I'm talking about, I thought it'd make some sense to brush it out at the last second for whatever reason.

doesn't seem to actually lets take this to the right thread which one was it?
