Maybe Albert Brooks could be a good Two-Face

It’s an unpopular opinion, but Rachel Dawes is a poor use of screen time that should have been rewritten as a character from the comics or just removed entirely. In my opinion, too much screen time was given to a character that doesn’t exist in the comics or in any other media. I also didn’t need a love triangle with Harvey, Bruce and Rachel. You could restructure that franchise a bit to maintain the emotional urgency that Rachel’s death brought. This can be achieved with other characters like Gilda Dent.As others have said, I'd prefer a Harvey Dent that is a character throughout (presumably) this new series of films. I always thought if Dent were Rachel Dawes (although I understand the need for a love interest I guess) then his fall from grace and death in TDK would've been even more powerful.
Literally the only thing working against Abbott is he might be a bit young for a DA.It baffles me that there’s only like 2 ppl here who know who Abbott is.
was he in star wars or spiderman i only watch those moviesIt baffles me that there’s only like 2 ppl here who know who Abbott is.
He's the same age as Rob. By the time he'd play this character, he'd be 38 years old. Aaron Eckhart was 39 while shooting TDK. Dent is supposed to be the youngest DA in the history of Gotham. Pretty sure he's supposed to be like late 20's or early 30's when that happens so it's all good.Literally the only thing working against Abbott is he might be a bit young for a DA.
I know him from James WhiteIt baffles me that there’s only like 2 ppl here who know who Abbott is.
It's different medium and there will always be made up characters in the movies. This trilogy will be no different, with Bella Real, Savage, Colson. I'm sure there will be more originals in the sequels and all the spin offs will probably have more made up characters than ones from the source material. It's an adaptation but writers want to create just as much as they want to adapt.
May I humbly suggest Jonathan Groff:

He's got that WASPy, All-American look, and can be good guy charming (Frozen), but he can definitely put on an edge and play malevolent. He was one of my favourite parts of the mixed bag that was The Matrix Ressurections.

Perfect.Going through his film resume, I'm not seeing much in the way of mainstream work.
CHARLIE.Girls was the biggest show on TV
Dawes wound up being more an assortment of narrative functions than a real character, though Nolan and co. at least had a competent (if *only* competent) execution of her functions. I think she began as the “obligatory love interest played by a name female star” like Chase Meridian in Batman Forever, and the simply morphed into a handy tool for tragedy. It’s an unpopular opinion, but Rachel Dawes is a poor use of screen time that should have been rewritten as a character from the comics or just removed entirely. They could have set up Harvey instead of Finch and Selina instead of Rachel in Begins. Selina’s presence would have fit with the emphasis on Falcone. I enjoyed the Bruce/Selina dynamic in Gotham where they knew each other as kids, and they could have done something similar in Begins. Nolan had so many minor characters in his movies too that with a few rewrites could have provided opportunities for characters from the comics. That sort of fidelity to the source material is something I’m looking forward to in Reeves’ films.
Nolan’s films were unquestionably faithful to much of the comics, but it had too much focus on characters that only existed in the Nolanverse for my taste. I am excited for how ambitious this expansive new Reeves universe appears to be. They’re going all in, with enthusiasm and depth of appreciation of the vast source material. Reeves’ enthusiasm for the character as a fan is what is really exciting me and what will set it apart from Nolan’s films. Nolan appreciated aspects of Batman but didn’t fanboy out like Reeves appears to, and that’s what excites me.
Way too old.I think Denzel Washington would be a legendary Two Face.
He is a master at playing both heroes and villains.
Please, Matt Reeves. Please make it happen.
