My choice for Alfred Pennyworth would actually be The Dark Knight Rises, Rouge One, and Captain Marvel alumni Ben Ben Mendelsohn. He's certainly able to pull off the sardonic humor while at the same time , I could believe he was a type of British intelligence agent in the past. He actually reminds me quite a bit of a young Michael Gough.

He'd be an outside the box choice for sure, and he's Aussie, but the guy's a great actor ,and he could definitely pull it off especially if they're going for a 20 something Batman.
