Saw Blade Runner 2049 again last night, what a triumph. Speaking of which, they wanted Ryan Gosling for the Joker in Suicide Squad but he said no. Wonder if he'll ever do one of these.

I used to want Gosling for Batman, but his freakout scenes I've seen make me think he could've definitely pulled off Joker as well . On the other hand, I'm glad he didn't have to play THAT Joker...

Not to sound ageist, but Dance and Pryce are in their 70's. For a franchise that may take 10 years to make, that concerns me a bit.

Some rumours of Pierce Brosnan for Alfred. Ryan Unicomb was the first person to suggest Robert Pattinson back around January. He also suggested a list of actors for other characters that have yet to come true so take it with a grain of salt.

As Bill states in his article, he was hearing Pierce Brosnan rumours back in February and you can go to his twitter page to see his pinned tweet from then is a picture of Brosnan.

I don't get the appeal of Brosnan as Alfred beyond "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if a former Bond played Alfred?"

He wouldn't do a horrible job, but it's hard to imagine any scenario in which he'd be better than Richard E. Grant, Ralph Fiennes and Hugh Laurie. All those 3 are much better actors and much better suited for Alfred. Also, I'd rather have someone that hasn't already played a father-son relationship with Robert.

Honestly the only actor I'd pick over Brosnan here is Grant. Fiennes has already played Alfred before and Laurie's not really the sort of pick I'd go for with Alfred anyway.
