Not that I don't like the Black and White suit. I think it's not necessary now especially in Justice League. Maybe a future Superman film would be fine..

I like JL's Superman look with beard except with same suit.

I want to see these colours on the Superman symbol though. Black, yellow and red. That on a suit similar to the previous ones, except much more blue with a beard would be epic..

The Black and Silver suit is a part of Return of Superman mythos. There's no other time for him to wear it.

Why would his suit turn black?

With a self healing suit, if superman is dead/coma then his suit could be dormant. It would then change back to blue in time. His final scene with the group could be his silvery cape turning red

I haven't a particular affinity for a black suit, even if I like it, but since he will come back from the dead, I think it would be better to be have something colorful.
But I'm with you about the symbol, it's something I would like to see, it reminds me of the suit in the Fleischer's cartoon, one of my favorite Superman look.

When he was being healed in the FoS in the comics he was put into a black suit because black absorbs more of the sun's energy, speeding up the healing process.

I never understood how in their realistic world, no one figured out Clark was Superman.. I mean at least now he can be Clark Kent at home with his mom..

Because he couldn't before....? Oh, like he gets to be in hiding with his ma when hes not supes, like a criminal. Imagine all the story possibilities. The second act of the MOS sequel could be all about Clark not doing the dishes

I don't know, but I keep seeing Justice Lord superman if he appears with a black suit along with the Justice League. Not going to lie, Justice Lord suit is honestly very cool. But that Superman is evil, so you know…….

The mullet is a dated look. I would prefer if he has the medium length hair and a full thick beard.

I wouldn't want Superman to have long wavy hair and a long beard though, because that's Aquaman's look. I would like to see a thick but not too long of a beard. Medium length hair would look nice..

I wanted to see the yellow border and black background Superman symbol in Justice League because that is very iconic and it can look very cool.. Plus it's a homage to Darwyn Cooke. I want them to use it in the future though. possibly in a future superman solo film

I'd prefer Jurgen's Lois & Clark look, but Superman Beyond is a compromise I'm willing to make. The House of El Shield in that reminds me of Kingdom Come and that's always a plus. Give him the beard and medium hair and I think we're onto something.

Superman/Jesus symbolism has never been the problem. Because the highlight of Superman is that he is pretty much a modern interpretation of Jesus.
Except a physical force. Superman still values the other way, he doesn't support killing and he is a peaceful guy. It's Snyder depiction of that Jesus metaphor except the opposing characteristics of Superman that bothers people.
Superman has killed, he seems like he hates being a hero and he doesn't seem like a saviour.

I don't see the argument that he "hates" being a hero or he not being a saviour.. But a lot of people hate it and using these as their arguments..
If anything to these people the Jesus symbolism is the only thing that retains to the comic book Superman..

Long hair/beard is not a "Jesus" thing. I don't think any of us were around 2,000 years ago (unless one of yuse owns a Lazarus Pit) to know what the guy's grooming habits were.

Guys, I've been traveling these past few days so I've been out of news, please , someone explain to me if there's been news leaked or a confirmation about him wearing a black suit/another suit or if he's gonna have longer hair, a beard, etc. I keep seeing these manips and pictures of Clark like that on instagram, tumblr, etc.

There was nothing on Superman during the press tour. Except for Snyder, I think, saying he will have longer hair. I suppose, it fueled these manips.
