No thank you. She's as overrated as Jlaw.

They're both great.
Wassa matter with you?

The woman who should've been Lois!!!![]()
I think Amy's done a fine job as Lois.
More so in Man of Steel performance-wise, as she had a good deal more of an arc in that movie and her storyline wasn't chopped up in the editing room.
In my opinion, her Lois is the best we've gotten on film for three reasons.
1: She's smart enough to figure out Clark's secret, not functionally braindead like half the Lois's we've seen out there (looking at you, DCAU)
2: She's snarky and assertive, but has a softer side that comes out whenever she's around Clark. Makes her a more complete character.
3: Her investigations actually matter. Thanks to Lois's snooping in BvS, in spite of her needing to be rescued a few times Lex Luthor is now in prison.

Yeah, that movie looks really messed up. JLaw's character looks like she's losing her damn mind.
Then again it's Darren Aronofsky, so that's to be expected.
And if you don't mind me asking, could you let me know the source of that avatar of yours?
For research purposes![]()
I will not, fatman.
Now back on topic.

I 100% believe that Superman will be smiling flying at the end of JL
The ending will certainly belong to Superman. I'd really like to see some sort of televised address to the world if possible. I haven't seen Superman IV for ages, but I'm sure Supes speaks to the UN at the end. I think a message to the world like that would be grand and appropriate.
Unless Henry's Superman is scheduled to have some kind of supporting role in "Shazam", I think the earliest that we can expect to see him again would be in 2021 after JL, which is like 4 years away.
The year 2008:
"Unless Christian's Batman has some role in JL: Mortal, I think the earliest that we can expect to see him again would be in 2012, which is like four years away."
Between 2013 and 2017 we will have seen Superman on screen three times in four years.
True....though I think my issue with this is that we will have to possibly wait for awhile before we can see a take on Superman featuring Henry in the role where Snyder isn't at the helm of it.
I'm just hoping that I get to see a live action Superman film that's considered to be both critically and financially successful without any dumb controversy within a decade from now.
Why does the opinion of others matter so much to you? Because the bolded makes no mention of your own opinion.
Here's some ideas I had for Superman going forward in the DCEU, after Justice League.
The next solo MOS film should have Brainiac as the bad guy. A cosmic, sci-fi heavy adventure mixed with personal stakes with Clark and Lois upping their relationship (maybe a marriage, seeing as how he was about to propose before the events of BvS).

His rivalry with his archnemesis can't be forgotten, however. I have a feeling the events of BvS and JL will shape Luthor into more of the controlled and patient mastermind we've seen in other stories. As such, with his knowledge of Superman's secrets Luthor could be an overarching villain over more than one film, in MOS 3 Luthor can create Metallo as an exploitation of the kryptonite that nearly killed Superman in BvS

Finally, an adaptation of the Public Enemies storyline would bring Superman and Luthor's rivalry to a head. Luthor obviously won't be president in the DCEU after being exposed the way he was in BvS, so perhaps he could blackmail the president or find ways to brainwash him to do his dirty work. In a mix between Public Enemies and the recent Rebirth arc where Luthor tries to become a new Superman, Luthor could build himself a battlesuit and try to take Superman's place while Superman is turned into a fugitive.
Then we would finally get a no-holds-barred showdown between the two arch-foes.

Title of the next film.
Superman : Shafted to space
Actually it never bothered me because I always thought Superman "had taken care" of the bad guys. I did not ask how. Like they fall in a pit of the phantom zone underneath the fortress. The "killing" question wasnever in my mind.So what do you call it when Superman took away Zod's powers, crushed his hand, and threw him down a hole in the arctic?
And you've done a great job verbalizing what I have in mind. Without being agressiv or anything. You nailed it. Instead of fleshing out the complex interior life of Superman, they relegated him. I had the impression too, he had very little time on screen, talking. I couldn't care about what is at stake or his life because in the end, like you said rightfully, I don't know him. That saddens me. This is why I feel angry at BvS.You've done a great job verbalizing why I think Superman is such a great character, but we are on very different pages as to how succesful the DCEU is in capturing this. What they are going for is respectable and, in a world dominated by Marvel's four-quadrant approach, I would really enjoy a sober, in-depth character study exploring what it would be like to grapple with such immense power. But instead of really fleshing out the aforementioned complex interior life that we both agree on, they've relegated him to a glorified plot device who splits his time between silently reacting to things and listening to people give heavy-handed speeches about how important he is. They've given him very little in the way of agency, let alone personality, and what brief moments of humanity they do give him feel so perfunctory and uninspired that it just highlights how little there actually is to this character. All that to say, I don't buy any of this interior life. He's just mopey because the script can't stop talking about how important he is, but I don't feel any of it because I do not know him and the way he's sidelined in BvS makes me wonder if the film-makers ever even wanted me to care in the first place.
