I must admit, i do find it interesting and funny how we have gotten to the stage where people are being recast, demanding more money, producer roles etc - which has then soften the blow for people who maybe didn't want that or hyped those who did - it's also putting theories in my head etc to.
Now, i want Cavill to stay - not sure why there are rumours otherwise, but either way - he deserves it.
I think we are in a mess, and i say this with a heavy heart, what was Snyder's downfall, in some respects is doing too much too soon.
MOS was the launch pad - it showed us what kind of universe, tone we were going to get. Now, BvS, i and no issues at all with Batman, i liked Bruce's portrayal and Snyder's vision - but it should have been saved for a solo movie.
A cameo would have been the perfect teaser and way better than post credit sequences.
Two movies setting up and showing us superman and the world. The sequel (touched on it briefly by BvS) could have gone into detail what lois mentioned in MOS of other metahumans - clark doing his thing, researching who else is out there - the batman could spark his fancy only for Batman to appear outside his apartment - Batman warns him from digging too deep and to stick to his city, all the while Clark looking worried, weak and sweaty.
The film continues and the post credit scene is bruce back at the cave, he has footage of clark and his family at smallville - shows batman dug up his past and as he puts away his gadgets, a glowing green ring is placed in a safe. This shows bats means business.
Anyways, enough of what if they did this. Moving forward, if they were to recast would it be necessary to explain - like a time rift we later find out about in future flash movies or just act normal?
