I want to feel disappointed but it doesn't look like they were interested in using DC Fandome to announce any new movies either way so the Black Adam/Shazam stuff was always the most logical outcome.

Beyond frustrated by this fact - I would say initially he was out, like out out. WB execs at the time did not like him, or at least that's the word on the interwebs, but ever since Fallout and The Witcher and the reception he's received in those projects he's used that as leverage to come back to the role. He truly wants to be Superman again, just make it happen already, ugh.

Personally, I will only find myself interested in Henry's Superman again once we actually get confirmation that he's going to have another solo film. I don't really care as much about seeing him guest star in someone else's film.

I will take any amount of Cavill Superman I can get at this point tbh, I just remember fan-casting him wayyyy back when on here with a ton of others, and remembering some saying he was too much of an unknown and it wouldn't happen.. and it finally did and he's been so good so far. I wanna see how his character evolves once he comes back in ZSJL and how that Superman moving forward interacts with all these different characters in this universe. So exciting, I hope they make it happen.

Well the frustrating (and confusing) thing about all of this is that IF we see Cavill's Superman return, we don't know if it's going to be the version from the theatrical cut of "Justice League" or from Snyder's Cut.

I strongly believe that the character in Snyder's Cut will be in a VERY DIFFERENT place at the end of the film when compared to his theatrical counterpart.

Furthermore, I just don't want to see the character get the MCU Hulk treatment where he's just an supporting character in a series of other films. It's quality over quantity for me.

I also don't buy the notion that Warner Bros needs to reintroduce him several films to build up anticipation and excitement for his own film. People already want to see another Superman film. The problem is that Warner Bros doesn't want to work on it for some reason.
