Justice League Henry Cavill IS Clark Kent/Superman - - - - - - - - - - Part 19

Great initiative by @SuperRouth
with 43k tweets, it proved that the demand and appetite is there for another Henry Cavill led Superman theme.
With one or two trades noticing the trend as well, hopefully WB will have at least been aware of it.

thanks mate

It may not even do anything but I feel like I have to try, we’re going for a second round in November possibly on the 7th.

I like Snyder, but really want some new talent for MoS2. Just need variety.

It'd be nice to a have a modern day Superman film where the color filter used is somewhat normal for once.

So, it would look like CW's Superman ?

No, I would definitely not want that.

I was thinking something more along the lines of what films like Star Trek and Aquaman had used for their color filters.

If anything, I feel like Warner Bros will move only move forward if someone can convince them that they could make a new Superman film for less than $200 million ($150 Million) while taking the character in a fresh and safe direction.

They just have to be sensible with the budget. Use practical sets & effects where possible, although not to the extent of Singer on SR - didn't they buy, dig up, re plant & wait to grow the corn field just for the flashback scenes?

Agreed. Not to mention, he reportedly spent $10 million on creating the "Return to Krypton" sequence, only to have it deleted from the final cut afterwards.

of course!! I remember watching 'the making of', and they were showing him scenes of the Krypton bit & he was like 'bored, bored'. They could have trimmed so much off the cost.

Hollywood overspends like crazy and their budgets continue to rise hence why we have to pay more and more for movie tickets. There is no reason what so ever why a Superman movie should cost anymore than 120 million, yes you heard me 120 million! The mummy, ignoring it's quality, cost 120 mill despite having Crow and Cruise as stars and a massive amount of visual effects.
If there is one good thing to come out of this Covid nightmare is that Hollywood will be forced to tighten up their budgets and start relying on quality writing for a change.

Agreed, WB should spend less than $140 mil on new Superman movie, it will be more profitable for them. Even if it makes just $450 mil, it will still get a sequel.

I think StageCraft will be really important to help with the next Superman movie, as far as I understand it can help keep costs down too
