That's it! Call Michael Bay!

No one can present an exploding turkey in its full glory like he can.

If we let Bay direct that scene, Martha will be high on weed brownies , Lois will come to Martha's house wearing short shorts, Clark will be stammering on the way there as well and he'll be talking about the gap in their relationship caused by Lex's robots.

:lmao:

I know! It's brilliant isn't it? :woot:

I thought the high Witwicky mom scene in Revenge of the Fallen was hilarious.

As I said, there's little to no chance at all of seeing a Superman from TDKR in these movies.
There'll be some traces of that Batman though, I'm sure of it.

In TDKR, both characters were taken to an extreme, but that works much better for Batman. Though an extreme one, TDKRs depiction is actually more or less befitting for Batman, but Supermans character was bastardized.

We've probably said it atleast a hundred to a few thousand times, but coming from the hoarse's mouth himself, in order for this storyline to characterize TDKR's Superman in this movie, it would have to be a TOTALLY different Superman than MOS's/Snyder's Superman. We won't see it. Batman's characterization from the graphic novel, maybe, but not Superman.

In fact, the MoS Superman is kind of like Superman's version of what Batman was in TDKR so essentially, I expect these two to go head to head and put on one helluva show together.

Agreed. Remember that this Superman is the one who flung a drone at a General and told him Washington could suck it until they were willing to play by his rules. That is about as antithetical to Miller's Superman as is humanly possible. A government patsy Superman would be so against the established character that it would pretty much ruin the movie right off the bat.

This is simply Great!

Did you see White House Down? Roland Emmerich should have hired Bay as an explosion consultant. All of the 'splosions in that movie looked so fake.

When I watched that movie, I couldn't shake the impression that the budget had been whisked away after filming.

Meh, didn't see whitehouse down.
Saw Olympus though, it was an awesome action flick. Pure die hard-ness

It's possible. Everything in it looked so fake. And that's a shame because I actually thought the actors were good and the story (though completely ridiculous) was a lot of fun. But when witty banter is always juxtaposed with cartoon helicopter chases, it just drags the movie down.

It does. The only way to get around it would be to embrace the cheese and try and pass yourself off as a movie that's in on the joke. But it was too earnest for that.

Arguably Olympus Has Fallen has more success in that regard (though it was pants as well)

It would be like that if they didn't use that stupid muted color effect :argh:

New Pics from today.

Apparently... he was filming scenes of Superman :D look at the hairstyle :wrk

He has a lot of time and patience for ppl. I respect that. Most celebs will keep ppl at arms length unless there's some good press in it for them. You gotta be nothing but proud to have a true gentleman playing superman

^^ Yes, from today... There's something called soap and water that can be used to clean clothes :o

To be serious for a moment yeah its' good to see. I've even heard some actors would charge ordinary people to take a photo with them.

Get used to it... now there's sweatshirt time :o
