I do agree with most, though, that his natural hair style would work the best.

Well I think the reason why his DOJ hairline bothers some is because it doesn't look all that flattering for him in some ways and gives more fuel to the fire for those that constantly say that he's balding the hell out when we've head candid photos of him with regular hair that say the contrary.

It's pretty much a compilation of several quotes that Snyder made on video regarding Superman, and if he stays true to his word for this film (and for the JL film), then I think any fan of Superman s shouldn't be worried about how Snyder is going to portray Superman in this film, despite Batman being in it.

This. It's not a big deal, but being oversensitive and bashing people for even acknowledging it is often more annoying than people who mention it. Chris Evans openly admits he has a receding hairline...it's not a big deal and it's not an attack on Cavill. Yeesh.

That's one part of the issue. The other part is it's Henry Cavill and Superman, people are going to whine and moan no matter how he looks. He could look precisely like the S:TM or STAS Clark and people would ***** like they are now.

Cavill's hairline is probably the exact same or better than Affleck, RDJ and Evans' but that doesn't matter, because it's Cavill. And a lot of users revel in coming onto these boards and mentioning it because they know it gets a reaction. It's comparatively a baseless statement but people love making it anyways. Everyone just needs to ignore inconsequential bull****.

Me too. Cavill is one fine speciem. Period. His hair is fine no matter the style and he has plenty of hair.

Whether it's receding or not, I don't think Cavill's going to be bald anytime soon; he still has plenty of hair. And, as has been said a number of times, Superman's often been portrayed with a receding hairline in the comics.

Jim Lee even made it a point to depict his pre-52 version of the character with said feature, as illustrated by one of his early sketches below.

I can understand why some aren't crazy about the hairstyle, but this isn't exactly the first time that we're seeing it. So, why harp on the issue?
