Also, Vision felt like the most powerful character in my opinion. He was very...Supermanish. yet he was one of the best things in the movie....and he was Supermanish.

I have a feeling that was intentional, especially when you see the way Vision appeared in the early group-shot marketing poster for AOU. I felt they were taking a poke at DC, almost as if to say, "ha ha, if you like Superman so much, we'll make an artificial one for you and he'll be a supporting character on our team."

Few things.

This is Marvel's first time out. All they have to do is stick to the script. With Batman and Superman being done so much a different take must happy.

Secondly Captain America can never change. Why because he's not a contemporary character. He will always be part of old fashion USA. He fought in WWII. He can't change.

Batman has changed a few times and now has a identity that cannot be shaken.

Superman however is contemporary. Unlike Superman, Captain America knew he wanted to protect and serve. He was a person so insignificant so small, so weak, but his resolve was strong.

Clark is the opposite, he was "born" great, powerful and different. So Superman is naturally shy but he has a good heart.

The author does not know Superman as well as he thinks he does. The boy scout, the beacon of hope, and earth's protector are all titles. Who Superman really is is a humble sincere person with powers before anything else.

That is where Snyder started with Superman. Then he put this god with humility in a world that rejects something they don't understand.

The beauty is to see Superman come out of that. That's Snyder story.

Ah, Maluka. I remember how before Batfleck was caast, she kept insisting Bomer HAD to be Batman. And supported her posts with spamworthy amounts of Bomer pics.

It was traumatic. I couldn't watch White Collar for months.
