Johns is literally the CCO of DC Comics, though. He's got a lot more clout than just any other comics writer.

I don't think that Geoff Johns is on that movie project just because he has some clout as CCO, he worked under Richard Donner and did write a few episodes of Smallville and Flash, so that experience coupled with the fact that he is also a comic book writer worked in his favor to join Affleck in writing the script of the movie.

Heh, this is kind of what I was thinking when I said his looks were potentially "problematic" when we were discussing why he doesn't work more (a couple of weeks ago when we were scared he wasn't joking about 50 shades of crap)

I mean, I don't think he's really in Megan Fox territory with how he's regarded, and I think he'll actually have more available to him as he gets a little older (sad irony there huh? Hot guys get taken more seriously as they age, hot women just disappear)
