Jeeze people Ben is a veteran 2x Oscar winner, I'm just happy that Henry being relatively new wasn't intimidated and had no qualms mocking Ben. Not everything is some form of vieled criticism.

Yeah, I'm glad he views both identities as very much being two halves of who the character is as opposed to those that just treat the Clark Kent identity as an act and joke.

eh. I prefer that the duality of Superman/Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne/Batman are real characters.
Never liked the idea that one of the aspects of the character was a disguise or fake to the other side.

What I mean and Henry touches on this is Clark is Superman in his moral standing regardless of whether he was Superman at all, the heart that Superman has, the moral values are all Clark's.

I never get people saying he's a 'boring' character either, he has to deal with loss of parents, sacrifice of loving someone for the greater world good, acceptance of a people that are not his, being an orphaned adopted child and growing into that skin. Yep, a lot to contend with, and some 'darkness' thrown in for good measure.

My favourite superhero character and I think HC plays him brilliantly.

Ok I get what you and Henry are saying and understand it. I personally see all aspects of a superhero parts of a whole
for Clark- Kal-El/Clark Kent/Superman
for Bruce- Bruce Wayne(public self)/Bruce(his private self)/Batman
