Well, below is the reason why I don't hang around here much anymore. Anyone who is skeptical of Snyder is dismissed as being either a militant Marvel fanboy or an irrational old man who can't let go of the Donnerverse.

That's a reverse reason why I'm cutting back on commenting over at c b m . c o m. Too many people who criticize Snyder and MOS/BVS for not being like Donner or Marvel. That's why you have people here dismissing skeptics. Because quite often that skepticism is paired with some praise of Donner or Marvel. The people dismissing skeptics might be overgeneralizing skeptics and making prejudgments of them, but that dismissal isn't out of nowhere.

You could also, you know, learn to take a joke or be able to handle a snide remark every once in awhile. Someone makes a joke about the Skepticism thread and THAT is the reason you don't hang around "here" anymore? The same comment was then re-posted in the Skepticism thread to make a "point".

I think that fans on both sides of the spectrum -- both the skeptics and believers -- need to learn to have thicker skin at this point.

But frankly, being called a troll for having a different opinion for three years straight would make anyone a little irritated. And if I thought Rows was just taking the piss, I wouldn't have bothered to respond in any fashion. Still, cooler heads should always prevail.

I'm not going to lie, a lot of us DC fans, who look forward to the film and hope that it is good have been huge ***** to good posters who are skeptical of the film to varying degrees. I'm not talking about actual trolls who can burn in hell for all I care, I'm talking about good posters. For all we know we could dislike the film so going so hard against the good posters who are skeptical to varying degrees is unwise.

I mean I think I'll probably like the film but I thought Sucker Punch was decent and I have two Zack Snyder movies on my top 15 comic book movie list so make of my opinion what you will.
