Spidey misinterpreted my statement, when I was referring to evans in the Avengers where he was indeed smaller from his first movie.

Alright I get it but I was never bothered by any body changes in The Avengers as nobody looked out of shape to me.

I always imagine him without clothes on so his bad fashion sense doesn't bother me.

Cavill was a beast in MOS, so to think he is even bigger now is an outstanding feat, something Supes fans should be excited for.

His torso looks magnificent, but the area where he looks more stalkier is his upper chest area that flows into the span and area of his shoulders. His arms are also wider with a more noticeable defined bicep and it just makes for an amazing superhero physique. His MOS body was impressive, but where he's at now is incredible in mass.

He's not bigger than Hemsworth no. Hemsworth is simply a bigger man, so has larger proportions. That said Cavill has a way better physique. Cavill is way more cut and he and Twight focus much more on aesthetics than Hemsworth who seems kinda blocky.

I meant Evans in the Avengers actually both him and Hemsworth were noticeably smaller. I believe that was around the time Evans started talking about how hard it was to maintain all that bulk he put on for the First Avenger.

I haven't seen WS yet so I can't judge but from the promo material it seems he looks a good deal better in his costume this time around.

Cavill does look pretty big, it looks like he's still somewhat pre-cut though but that should actually make him look even bigger with the added definition.

I think Evans had very little time (2 months) on Avengers so he just got the size going to fill out the suit and that's it. Hemsworth just had to show his biceps, which were as huge as ever.

The Avengers films are already way too packed with dozens of characters and plot strands so if they start giving heroic "physique shots" to every hero, the movie would be too long and start an ego war between the male stars.
Though I fully expect Snyder to feature physique shots in a team-up movie like BvS too.

Evans body is perfect for Captain America, who is a more agile and flexible guy. Hemsworth's body is perfect for Thor; Thor in the comics is a huge tank and not exactly a perfect V-shaped model.

If you compared Cavill and Hemsworth's shirtless pics to non-superhero fans, who have never seen the movies and don't know who these people are, I highly, highly doubt many would say Cavill has a much better physique.

1st and 4th look great, 2nd and 3rd...He looks weird, to put it mildly.

I don't think slumcat was putting anybody down. Though, I agree with him. Hemsworth and Cavill obviously have completely different frames, each wildly impressive in their own right in their achievements.

To me, Hemsworth has a much longer and lankier frame, as Cavill in MoS was wider in his uper-torso and the way it peaked in his upper body. His chest, obliques and abdominal area was way more cut and defined than Hemsworth's but again, two different frames to compare. They are both massive, however.
