Just saw the new suit...first impression was that I like it, but I'm just a little bit disappointed that they didn't reduce the cuffs and the side detailing. I mean, they made it even more pronounced! But again, Henry really makes it look good so I'm cool with it. I hope the atmosphere of this picture doesn't allude to the tone of the film though. Dark and depressing? I was hoping for a nice bright, hopeful-looking shot of Superman for this film. Maybe they still have one of those to release later on. As always, Wilkinson delivered!

Doesn't look recycled to me… I almost want to say they did it on purpose (put him in the same pose) So we can compare and see the changes. Just me though. And yes, Wilkinson is a genius.

Chainmail seems chainmailier, there's more pronounced filigree in the 'belt', and some additional detailing in the shield. And dat forearm! Mine are jealous. I just don't like the rectangular 'buckle', along with the more squared off lines along the sides. Seems so out of place given the sweeping, organic aesthetic that's been set up.

Yeah, those forearms definitely look bigger...even the biceps! Not sure if it's just the suit, but Supes is pumped!

The shield is a tad smaller and fits better with the suit. You can see that there's more room between the color and the shield, as well as the end of the shield is less on the abs.

Yeah the square buckle doesn't work for me either, I liked the sleek/curvy lines of the MoS suit and didn't Zack n the designers say that Krypton didn't have straight lines?!? That everything was curved?

I don't like the belt. I know, I know, it gives definition, blah blah. To me it looks weird on an alien suit. Overall though, I'm glad they didn't go nuts with the changes to the suit.

I like a lot of the improvements, but there are a few things i am unsure off;

-the double 'v' on the boot top, where it hits his calves.
-the sharp angles. I dont have problem, visually with it. However the design team, seams to have broken a design rule they establish based last film.That being there are no straight lines on krypton.

I do love all the kryptonian ligatures interwoven into the suit, between the cuffs, on the 's'. Making it more alien nature.

Looks great. I personally thought the original suit didn't need any changes at all, but these are fine. I'm guessing he's on a rooftop in Gotham, which looks cool.
