Obviously
Happy Independence Day, Guest!
We NEED to spend a good amount of time with the Mother. No amount of talking will convince me otherwise.
You see, I agree that there needs to be some time spent getting to know the mother, but I feel like that opens up a new can of worms. At what point do you end the series if she is introduced earlier? Do we see them up to when he proposes or when she has their first child? That doesn't mean we shouldn't get to know her. Why should we take it on faith alone that this is the girl for him? And not only for him, but for the rest of the group as well. Should we also take it on faith alone that the mother passes Lily's Front Porch test, or that the Mother is secure enough in her relationship with Ted that she's not only not threatened by Robin, but also probably becomes pretty good friends with her? She's not only the girl of Ted's dreams, and the mother of his children, but she should also be the missing piece that the group never knew was missing in the first place.
We NEED to spend a good amount of time with the Mother. No amount of talking will convince me otherwise.

Personally, I think the best we will get is a 5-10 min montage at the end with a voice over from Future Ted talking about how he fell in love with her, and maybe even a look back at some key moments from her perspective about her journey.
well with Marshall's Mom back on the market maybe she'll end up getting involved with Ted's Dad next lolIf it is really Barney's half sister, then when Ted talks to his kids about Uncle Barney and Aunt Robin, that would be a more literal meaning. But then he says the say thing about Aunt Lily and Uncle Marshall.
isnt Ashley Bensen 21 years old? thats way to young for Ted and the actor IMO.
well if they do, do a "how I met your father" type episode, showing all the times that they've almost met in the past, in flash backs and stuff, it'd make sense to cast someone younger, so she can play the mother at different age's (then they can just age her up to show her in the current timeline or in the future when/after they actually get married)Yeah, I would'nt mind a 1-episode "How I Met Your Father" type thing. Like older Ted has to get up to go to the bathroom or something (he's been holding it for EIGHT YEARS!) and hands off the story to the mother.

And to make it extra awesome, have the Mother be voiced by Lori Loughlin.
Lol I'm assuming you hate that idea.
