It would be very dark and the world would be like in Batman TAS. No Robin.
if it was like BTAS, itd have Robin. It would be very dark and the world would be like in Batman TAS. No Robin.
I think that Batman Begins served as a great foundation for the film franshise, The Dark Knight followed it very well but now with the Dark Knight Rises i think they kind of ruineed that foundation by making an ending to to a trilogy.
I sincerelly think the world of Batman Begins and The Dark Knight wasn't that realistic or impossible to put Superman and other heroes, Year One was much more realistic and yet it was set in a superhero world, unlike most i prefer the idea of a continuin series of movies with Batman where the stores grow like the comics instead of making a 1-3 self containing movie cycle.
Unlike t«what Nolan sais these movies can last forever, look at the James Bond movies, and with Batman you also have a lot of story potencial and interesting villains.
Why not just introduce Superman after the first 2 Batman movies events? It worked for the Bruce Timm DC animated universePersonally, I don't know how I would reboot Batman.
I think it would be a bit creatively dishonest to put Superman in this universe. I mean, if there was a guy who could melt things by looking at them, lift thousands of tons, and fly at relativistic speeds, someone would have mentioned it.

Wouldn't the same happen with a world where phones emit waves to spy the entire city do the same? When directors like Nolan talk about realism they're refering to making thing believable in todays context, that's what the tried to do with Spider-man, iron Man and even Superman: The Movie
If I rebooted Batman...I would scrap the live-action thing all together. It would be CGI, but not Pixar or Dreamworks style CGI. It would be more akin to the Arkham City style cinemas on a bigger budget. IE. Realistic, but also very stylized. This would allow a Batman much truer to the comics as well as keep the feel and look...and you wouldn't have to worrya bout actors aging since you can have a voice actor. (Preferably an established voice actor..you know who...someone who's done the voice before.
That's how I would do it.
Even so, I just think that having Superman exist offscreen would contradict the "grounded" tone of the films. BB & TDK give me the impression that they take place in a world much like our own. Superman's mere existence would shatter that familiarity because he could change the very world as we know it.

But the next franchise will be connected to a JL movie, so Superman will be a part of it. One way or the other.I think it would be a bit creatively dishonest to put Superman in this universe. The way I see it, we've already gone the "stylized" route with Burton's Batman, and the "realistic" route with Nolan's. Time for something totally different.
I say a gritty Batman Beyond type of trilogy. Neither totally realistic or stylized.

Why Batman Beyond?
