well look at it this way: sweaters and dress shirts and either jeans or brown/beige pants and for shoes I have swayed brown/beige/white and black and I have a faux-hock and for music it's always Mos-Def, Talib Kweli, Immortal Technique etc. And how do I speak? Proper english.

None of that really exists after highschool and besides everything is just considered emo now anyway. Emo, punk/skater or street.

You wear gothic stuff...."What an emo!" people will say.
You wear pants that aren't tight enough to show off your stuff and people are like "Baggy pants, he must be ghetto/street..."
You dress in anything else as long as it isn't "preppy" and it's like "what a skater" or "sooo punk."


But now in college no one says anything. I could wear the same pants for a week. Everyone's cool with it.

around where I live i don't see a medium. Like you don't see many regular people. There are the skaters (call them emo if you want, but I don't) and then the thugs. Its really weird.
