He seems more sorcerer than no Technomage at this point. I saw a shot of him hitting Reed with a bolt of green energy.

I'm getting a definite sorcerer vibe from this version of Doom.

It may not be actual sorcery, and he may have taken a shortcut to it, but its very similar.

There hasn't been ANY indication of Domashev being, well, ANYTHING like comic book Doom.

Except what Kebbell said about backstory that he ALSO said, I believe, wouldn't be in the movie.

Personally speaking I wasn't calling it magic. The green energy is something else and apparently Doom figured a way to master it.

He isn't in the accident that creates the Four. So it doesn't seem like he's given power (yet).

Uh no? I agree it's not magic but it's something weird/otherworldly power he's gained control over. It's not a machine of a weapon science.

The Four needed suits to go to planet zero with a green glow then they go back without suits and no green glow. Like Doom terraformed the planet or something using the green glow.

If it's not magic or science then what would you call it?

If he's found a way to master...whatever, and alter Planet Zero simply by using his mind, it's a superpower. It reminds you of a Manga Series? So what? It's still a superpower.

We've known he gets powers, same as the other 3(Mara doesn't go into Planet Zero because reasons), after going into Planet Zero.

We've known that for quite some time.

Nothing, NOTHING, has given anyone any indication that "magic" is involved in this movie, other than certain folks hypocritical wish for Domashev to be MORE like comic book Doom because, deep down, they know Domashev is awful.

Who said it wasn't ? I said I didn't think of FMA as super powers so that's why I didn't think of Doom as superpowers.

It's not a fallacy. It doesn't matter at what exact point in time Planet Zero gave them their powers. All that matters is that Planet Zero is responsible for their powers. I don't know what psuedo-scientific explanation the movie will give, but we can assume they all got their powers through the same basic mechanism.
