The Dark Knight Rises I am little sad to know many spoilers about the movie and end of Bane

But there is a pic of Bane lying down on the ground, supposedly knocked out.

You have to do more than that to finish off Bane. He will eventually wake up. :hehe:

Yeah that's what I believe too, especially since Talia will stab Batman right when he gains an advantage according to the callsheet.

You can see Batman limp when he connects the Dr. Pavel machine to his Batwing. I believe that's the stabbing from Tatelia.

Right there with ya bud. Batman is going to think he has it under control and then BAM! his "Girlfriend" stabs him and says in her best Princess Bride accent - "My name is Talia Al Ghul. You killed my father. Prepare to die."

*Chills*

I love the fact that some parts of the Al Ghuls is returning in this movie.

Cause in this Batman Legend, Ra's was the one who helped create Batman. It only makes sense for them to return in this epic conclusion.

Please, don't insult me.

It'd be foolish to assume that these 'ninjas' were able to catch every secret/spoiler that Nolan filmed.

Keep in mind, although Marion's cover has been blown (probably), the theory is still based solely on speculation. After all, we can't confirm zlich from the second day of filming at the stadium with over a 100 extras.

Yes, that must be because Nolan is a god, not because security was incredibly tight that day. :o
we speculate. but you wrotte that Nolan has more control. based on what? you know as much as a i do.

and again. they were trying to hide Marion on the stairs.........but they failed. if Marion was not a big secret than they wouldnt hide her next to the crashed truck.

I think the city hall scene is the last we will see of Bane. It's close to the end of the film I believe.(Talia may kill him because of his failure) After that there's the chase, the crash of the bomb truck with Talia driving it (she will probably be captured or killed),the carrying off of the bomb (will Bruce survive that?) and the ending scene that was shot in the studio in private. whatever that will be. I suspect some kind of memorial service but that's jmo.

I really don't think Bane's mask breaking will be the end of him.
I think the line he said to the CIA agent "It would be very painful, for you" will ring true.
When his mask breaks, I want Bane to take a few moments to recover and then go absolutely berserk and give Batman everything he has in a fit of rage.
And THAT is how Batman should beat him, by taking advantage of his opponent's frenzied state, Bats manages to stay cool and ultimately outsmart Bane.

Classic Batman.

Oh, God, yes.

And... about the "spoilers"... ehh, regardless of whether or not they are true, I think it was fairly obvious that Bane's downfall would come from his mask/injuries. I wasn't exactly expecting Batman to throw Bane into a lava pit. lol

i hope that Bane is the main villain and that Batman has to defeat bane to win. but based on the set pics the big chase is happening after the city hall fight. and they didnt film Bane going into the tumbler. so it looks like Miranda tate is the last villain he has to defeat to save Gotham.

As many people have mentioned, you have only yourself to blame for seeking out spoilers. But you can't think that you've seen the majority of the film just because you've seen a few spy pics.

Look at the trailer and prologue, both of these gave us some new stuff to watch, with some familiar stuff thrown in and they blew most of us away. There's still an entire film in there to be seen with many exciting set pieces and what's to say there's any truth in the story you may have established based on these photos? Maybe Bane is temporarily defeated, if at all? No one ever saw the end coming with Joker or Two Face, so you can't draw conclusions the way you have. Also Miranda Tate may look like Talia, but for all we know she could just be one of Bane's mercenaries working undercover to gain more information on Wayne, nothing has been confirmed. It's still all so very exciting, whichever way you look at it.

Thanks for all your coments.

We need to wait and see the entire movie to see what really happens in the end.

I was a little down because sometimes i am overhyped thinking Bane could win Batman, but later seeing that picture i remind what happens later.

See if Bane dies in City Hall I will be disappointed to a degree but I will be able to get over it. But if Talia kills him for failing that just makes it seem like he was her pawn the whole time which pretty much degrades his character which is something that I probably WONT be able to swallow.

How else would you think Batman would defeat Bane though? You go for the weakness, which is his mask/tubes. That shouldnt be THAT big of a suprise or a spoiler.

Not even that, it would be bad storytelling to set up such a weakness and then not deliver on it; as it's said, if there's a gun on the mantelpiece in Act I, you better have fired it by Act III.

Ummm, what makes you think he doesn't? You're still speculating on the point that Tate is Talia, when that is a theory we (as fans) have formulated.

Once again, I'll use another example. Similar to the second day of shooting at the stadium, we remain in the dark about what transpired in the tunnel with possibly several dozens 'ninjas' lurking around. Yet, nothing was uncovered.

So while my point can be labeled as moot, so can yours based on the minimum.

Ding-ding-ding!

Precisely. Nolan has implied to the audience (during the prologue) that Bane's mask is not necessarily his Achilles' Heel. It might also serve as a temporary strength.

My guess is that Bane dies by his own hands as he would rather die than live with his shame of defeat. Bane defeats Batman and leaves him for dead but Batman rises and comes back and defeats Bane but refuses to kill him at his request forcing him to live with his shame which Bane cannot so he kills himself thereby proving that Batman was the better student

As mentioned in interviews with Emma Thomas and implied in the prologue, Bane's mask is a weakness to be exploited, but I don't think it would be his demise, but more of a deterrent to cause him pain and slow down his breathing. Much like attacking anybody's weak spot, they will instantly go into adrenaline mode and try to finish the job before something finishes them. So, if Batman is to rip off Bane's mask, I reckon Bane may use what little time he has to go all out on Batman and not consider any consequences in the process.

I would also consider it pathetic if Bane dies just because his mask is cut off like some sort of life support machine. If he goes, he needs to go out with a bang surely?

Well apparently Batman gets his mask ripped off earlier in the film, so it should be a nice bookend to have Batman return the favor later...

Urm... what did he say?

I'm pretty sure that everyone's thinking that Bane's downfall will come from his mask.

CIA Operative: "If I pulled that off, would it hurt?"

Bane: "It would be extremely painful..."

CIA Operative: "You're a big guy!"

Bane: "For you."

TDKR isn't about Bane. People said the exact same thing about TDK. A finale without The Joker would be lame. We got a final without The Joker, it wasn't lame.

The fight at City Hall is most likely Batman's big comeback, it only makes sense for him to defeat Bane here. So what if Tatelia survives longer it doesn't mean she's the main or biggest villain (again see TDK). And after all from what we have seen it won't take long until Batman takes Tatelia out too.

Actually IMHO the final in TDK was REALLY lame.

Ah, thought that you meant that Nolan attended a screening of the prologue and said something about it.

Personally, I think it'd be cool if he went into some sort of beserker mode or something if his mask was taken off... but that's just me.

So, it's official that Bane's mask numbs the pain of injuries he's suffered in the past?
