I Am Number Four

I only want to see this movie because of Timothy Olyphant. I love that guy

The lead dude doesn't strike me as a very good actor, but it's either this or Big Mommas this weekend. Lesser of two and all that rot.

Started reading the book last night, you can tell its aimed at teenagers but it is actually quite a good read when you take that into consideration, hopefully the movie follows it closely as the early stages are quite good.

Hey, my name is Travis and I work with DreamWorks. It's great to hear that you guys are pumped about our film. I'm new here and I'm still trying to figure out the ropes of the forum, but if you fans have any questions about the film, feel free to let me know. I'm going to be seeing the movie tonight, so hopefully I'll be able to answer some questions for you (obv. without spoiling the fun).

Hope everyone enjoys the film this weekend.

I will give this a shot but hopefully it isn't too Twilight-y. As long as the story is good and the acting is good then I think this will be good. The visuals already look impressive from the trailers and that is usually what Bay and Spielberg deliver.

Awesome! Off topic but what do you do at dreamworks?

Needs.

More.

Agron.

:o

Dianna Agron and Teresa Palmer are ****in' hot.

Timothy Olyphant and Kevin Durand are ****in' cool.

That's enough for me.

:woot:

Movie isnt getting very good reviews, a shame as I have only just started reading the book, but will probably still go and see it.

i plan to see this sometime this weekend. i read the book a while back and finished it in about a day and a half. i heard somewhere the sequel book will be out sometime this year

i would imagine so considering this is the first of what will be a series

this movie SUCKED!!!

lol im exagerrating a bit but it was indeed a bad movie...
horrible story, with unconvincing plot holes and story points that have no logic.

the acting is pretty horrendous at times... except for (maybe) the glee chick.
the only thing keeping this watchable is the (VERY) few action scenes and they werent that special it was ALL in the trailers. There is a CG Hulk dogs kinda fight that looks just as fake as the hulk dogs. That cool aussie chick in the trailer is barely in the film for 5min.

It spends way too much time on boring cliched characters which ultimatly dont matter...(yes another school jock bully, nerd, and "chearleader" girlfriend). im surprised at how bad this was because i loved d.j Caruso after disturbia and eagle eye.

i laugh if they think people will want to see a sequel to this mediocre garbage..

4 out of 10... shouldve watched Unknown.. how dare i abandon a liam neeson movie

its pretty much a CW version of Legion.. in terms of quality and forgettableness...

I wanted to see this movie as well but with all the bad reviews I guess I will wait for the dvd...especially if there is a cg hulk dog fight.

I just read an article about him, stating that the studios are pushing to be the next big thing. But usually that's determined by the fans too. Fassbender and Tom Hardy are making it big due to their hard work and damn good acting. They are automatically charismatic and have gravitas.

You can't just be a pretty face like this Alex kid.

This Alex kid has a history of being a complete and utter *****e bag.

You didn't hear it from me.

did they change the title or what ?!
I'm still waiting for Steven spilberg' super 8

I long for the day when studios just give up on that tactic and allow people to make up their own minds who they do and don't like.

Tom Hardy is making it big?

please dont say Dark Knight sequel because Nolan has a history of casting the same actors. :yay:

I saw this at a press screening on Thursday and I liked it a lot. everyone was clapping at the end. but then i go home and read the reviews and the press hates it. they compare it to Twilight with aliens or 90% of people on rotten tomatoes don't even talk about the movie, they blast it because it has "sexy teens" when i go to the movies i don't wanna see ugly people on the screen. since when is being an actor and good looking a bad thing?

anyways i liked it and the CGI is pretty impressive. the best i've seen in a while. the dog fight is like a 3 second thing Chase.

the movie sets up for a sequel like twilight and other movies based on series do.

"The Power of Six" comes out in August.
