I Am Number Four

I Am Number Four is Number Two at the box office

Damn I should be a newspaper movie critic:o

It would be funny if this film did end up getting sequels but (like the Twilight films and other novels-turned-movies) the studios were wary of not including the original title in the sequels for fear that audiences might not make the connection that they're a continuation of the previous film.

I swear, I'd be there opening night to see a movie called I AM NUMBER FOUR: NUMBER TWO.

I know that. I was just musing over the "brilliant" decisions of Hollywood executives.

Also... beware the upcoming Friedberg and Seltzer parody version: I Went Number Two.

I remember some people thought that they should call the Fantastic Four sequel, Fantastic Four 2.

So Dreamworks guy, can you tell us if the rumors about Alex Pettyfer are true? Is he a money hungry prima donna with a bad temper who is now stalking Dianna Agron for leaving him?

jk :D

The rumors going around about this guy are the funniest thing ever.

lol, they really are. I don't know if they are all true but I mean, he's being handed a superstar career at age 20, so he should be kissing all the ass he can right now in appreciation.

Let's start a few of our own, shall we? :woot:

THIS JUST IN...

It has been revealed that ALEX PETTYFER was actually the one who punched Frankie Muniz's girlfriend and held a gun to Frankie's head. Asked why he did it, Alex said, "Because Malcolm in the Middle sucked. Someone had to suffer for that show."

IN OTHER NEWS...

ALEX PETTYFER has been revealed as the true cause for the revolt in Libya. Trouble broke out when Muammar al-Gaddafi announced to his citizens that the film "I Am Number Four" would not be screened in the country. Millions of Libyan Pettyfans took to the streets in protest, which has resulted in many injuries and deaths at the hands of the Libyan government. When asked what he thought of the protests in Libya, Pettyfer responded, "Libya? Isn't that a female body part?"

That sounds just as dreadful as calling the sequel to this film I Am Number 4 2.

Alex is so generic that he won't last long.

Dude is so damn dry. Everything about him.

People call Garrett Hedlund and Sam Worthington bad actors but this Alex guy makes them look like Jimmy Stewart and Marlon Brando.

He'll probably be one of those guys that just slowly fades away into the shadows and direct-to-dvd aisle.

Alex makes me appreciate guys like Ssam Worthington and that's SAYING SOMETHING.

HAHA like Casper Van Dien?

Casper Van Dien was in Starship Troopers though one of my all time favorite movies. So he wasn't completely forgotten.

As for his career yeah I think Alex will probably follow suit. :hehe:

he is not gonna fade away the guy is getting movie offers like crazy

That means nothing. What movies is he being offered?

Probably a ton of season filler crap. Chipmunks 3, I Know What You Did Last Summer remake, etc **** like that probably.

Alex makes me appreciate guys like Ssam Worthington and that's SAYING SOMETHING.

He really does.

So i'll ask again, I am about 2/3rds through the book and actually really enjoying it despite it being a bit below my age group, but how close to thr book is the movie exactly?

Without spoilers of the last 3rd of the book please :cwink:.

Alex Pettyfer... I will never forgive him for taking Alex Rider away from me.

It needs a proper movie goddammit! A proper movie!! :argh:

has been offered 2 more YA Novel Adaptations

1.Mortal Intruments

Shunt: The Story of James Hunt

No, Alex is great. Check him out in this interview. He goes over his part in the movie...definitely worth a look.

The Dreamworks guest doesn't want the Dreamworks ninjas after him if he says something bad. It's alright, mate. :p

Yeah, same here. I started reading, then started to gloss at it, then just looked down at the bottem of the page and there was a continuation and I stopped.

The movie stays pretty true to the book. I will be honest, there are definitely some changes and some things are left out, but I don't think it hurts the storyline at all. Let me know if you think so too after seeing the movie!

Saw it in IMAX on Tuesday. All I can say was this: Twilight, THIS is how it's done!!!:woot:

8/10
