No. When you become a regular dater, you will learn when enough is enough, and that's not to say that from that point you go Dutch on everything... but it's certainly not a mandatory, permanent fixture.

Everyone has their line of when to start splitting the bill, and it normally happens naturally as the couple develop. Basically, I can't say when the time should be; it should be something you work out between the two of you, naturally and most of the time unspoken.

This I am quoting from the past but honestly from my culture, we never let the woman pay when it comes to restaurants and such. And I am talking about a woman I live with and who is earning a 6 figure salary herself. She does contribute to the rent though even if it is less then 40%.

Well that issue does come up and i must say I do not always win the argument.
