So, after the argument they went inside their apartment, and they have been quiet since... Did I win for the day?
They may be plotting ... quietly.

No, it's early they haven't cut any cake.
No, it's just the beginning.
I heard it's fajita night tonight... Better go check your car, gringo... might be covered int tortilla shells by morning..!
See... this is why you are not allowed to come out of your room anymore. Now, just go back and continue eating your food with chopsticks so that the grownups can have a decent conversation.
Plotting to have a large gathering and cutting some late night cake.
Let's discuss the psychological meaning to the argument-defensive move that is the "'I can't talk to this guy'- walk away, but stay close enough to still listen and throw in a few comments, then come back into the argument full force".

No, lets talk about whether or not late night cake is overrated.

Everyone is a racist. Just some people keep their tendencies more dormant than others.
Back to the title of the thread, I was thinking, what constitutes a racist. There are the very bold, obvious images like the KKK that immediately spring to mind. But how was Geo being a racist? Maybe he was, maybe he wasn't, but I don't think it was obvious from what he said (assuming he gave an accurate description of what happened.) And if the people had been of the same race as his, then obviously that card couldn't have been played. It does seem like the word is becoming almost hackneyed, which is a shame because it's too important a concept to become trite.
