I like the size change. The general perception of a being called a "titan" is size and if you want him to be extra memorable from a cinematic standpoint, you make him imposing physically.

It's Thanos OF Titan, not THE Titan. It refers to his place of origin, not his stature.

Pretty much. That title is beyond synonymous with Thanos at this point. As far as I'm concerned, it should be a crime not to refer to him as the Mad Titan.

I believe he's around the size of the Hulk and certainly looked that way in the leaked trailer this past summer[BLACKOUT](especially when he punched Iron Man in the chest)[/BLACKOUT].

He's a little bit taller than Ebony Maw, Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, but significantly shorter than Cull Obsidian (Black Dwarf in the comics). We don't know how tall those characters are either, but it's safe to assume they're around average human height (more specifically about 6'0 - 6'2), which means Thanos would be like 6'4 - 7'0.

Well, Iron Man is 6'5 in the suit, and Thanos towered over him when he punched him in the leaked trailer.

He's basically Ultron/Hulk height (8ft +).

Cull Obsidian will likely be the biggest character in the film, other than potential Celestials.

Uh... I watched the leaked trailer in slow motion and it definitely looks like Iron Man is on his knees in that shot. He's hunched over and one of his hands is down as if it's on the ground and when he gets punched he lands exactly where his knees are rather than where his feet would be if he was standing. I've watched it multiple times and I can't see how it's possible that Iron Man is standing up. If that shot is in the officially released trailer I guess we'll know for sure then, because better quality.

Just re-watched it. You can't possibly tell that he's kneeling. The lower half is cutoff in the trailer.

The lower half is only cut off until you see him land on the ground after getting punched. The ground is level with his knees and his landing is too quick and too soft for him to be standing. I wish we could post leaked content on here so I could use some frames to show you what I mean.

We got Bor at the beginning of Thor: The Dark World, anything is possible.
