Logline details are being kept in the dark, but Flood is being described as an unconventional heist movie about a bank guard, a teller and a master thief in a deadly game of cons and double crosses. The story is said to unfold in a non-linear fashion.

Samson Mucke is exec producing. Production is to begin this fall.

Reeves is used to getting notes from corporate executives who have never directed a single movie before. I think he would be more than fine with getting notes from someone who has not only directed multiple blockbusters but also written and produced them.

Notes are not inherently negative or compromising. Everyone he works with on this film will give their version of "notes": the DP, the art director, the costume designer, the this, the that, the etc etc. This is a collaborative medium.

I don't think it is. There's been almost nothing like that from (relatively) reliable scoopers, tbh. Randos, sure, and Umberto isn't 110% bullet proof but he's legit. It's been total radio silence beyond super super broad and obviously baseless speculation.

Yeah I don't buy that there's some big reason other than the strikes, Reeves already being slow and having a major personal crisis. How many explanations do we need to invent when we already know several good ones?

Apparently they're fairly reliable, they previously shared accurate The Marvels stuff.

It would make sense, Reeves has talked about how his process is slow because he tries to be very precise and detailed with the scenes in the script, basically directing while he writes is what he said.

And there was actually a thing in the first one with him and Chinlund using VR to visualize and find shots.
