issue is in the dark knight we NEVER got batman training or doing the wooden poll arm blocking techniques as most martial artists. he didnt do any invigorating work out to see how he stays in TOP shape. we just had to believe he was still the **** but in comparison to BB he seemed rusty so IDK
I agree. My biggest complaint about Nolan's Batman is that he doesn't strike me as the World's greatest detective and a supreme martial artist. I'm still a fan of Nolan's interpretation of the character though.
Ok, sure, he can take down a group of thugs, but he looks slow and sluggish in the process. I know there are many intrepatations of his style, some more acrobatic than others, etc etc. But I hate the fact that in the Nolan films, he's tied down to one specific style. Isn't his art supposed to be his own? I always pictured it to be a variation of Jeet Kune Do mixed with some acrobatics and whatnot. I just hope that Bane doesn't just relay on his strength, but on technique.
