Hey guys please I got a question:

That tattoo on Heath's right hand, that 'rectangle', does anybody know if it's a 'special' tattoo or if it's something 'normal' y'know. Thanks a lot.

His daughter is so cute :(

He had an interesting fashion sense sometimes...lol.

I'm having a Ledger-related discussion with a friend right now and he made the point of Ledger not ever knowing how big a fan base he's created. Then he said he's inspired so many people b/c as I'm sure as we all know, alot of guys will dress up as the Joker this Halloween.

I'm inclined to agree but honestly, it makes me wonder just why the **** Ledger agreed to film two films at once. Didn't he realize just how stressed out he'd become?

Let´s bring the Ledgerbration back !!!!
:woot:

am i the only one who thinks its weird that the first time we see heath in the TDK he is bowing his head?

i had no idea how iconic and symbolic this shot would end up being.

Anybody else think he would of made a great Jack Sparrow?

I absolutely love Ledger's Joker. If I had to picture the Joker in real, life...Heath had him spot on IMO! The way he walked, the tone in the voice, and licking the scars, nice touch. Not to forget the costume design, fantastic. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the other Joker performances, all great in their own way. Then again most of my praise could possibly come from being a Heath fan even before TDK. It was a blessing to see Heath as the Joker, but I have to admit...I was fascinated by what he would create. I was not disappointed in any form, except in real life when he died before it was released. That has scared me for life. The scars remain on the sides of my mouth in the shape of a smile to forever hold as a reminder to smile that Heath lived, not cry that he died. And to remind me of every aspect of my favorite actor and the legendary fiend he brought to life. Everytime I feel like crying it asks me "Why so serious?" and makes me only smile more! :hoboj:

I agree with you. I think that what I highlighted is the key for his performance and the way it should be appreciated.

Well congratulations to Heath on a Golden Globe nomination for his outstanding Joker ... i cant think anyone who desserves it more :applaud

It is a massive tragedy he will never reprise this role. Nobody will beat him, and they’d be a fool to try. I think it is the benchmark - the definitive portrayal on screen and will be the thing of legends.

When I watch the film, I feel the enormity of Ledger’s loss even more. His career would have exploded after this. When I first saw the film at the cinema, I didn’t cry or feel sad when he was on screen, he made me smile. I turned to the person next to me and they were as well. He had electricity running through his body, he was bubbling with insanity and dark wit. He was dangerous, I truly felt this man could bring the City to its knees.

It was a magnificent celebration of his work. Heath, wherever you are, you did a bloody fantastic piece of work here. It's a crying shame you are not here to reap the praise you deserve.

Heath has, as Ang Lee had observed, put his "soul" into this role, and although he died before this film came out he had created a film icon that has already become a cinematic legend. Congrats to Heath for the Golden Globe nomination and I believe that an Oscar nomination isn't far behind either, and I have confidence he will win both.

I was going through my computer and came across a Heath interview from last November, I think for Latino Review, where he said that the Joker was "the most fun I've ever had, probably ever will have, playing a character." And that "you're just going to have to wait and see :yay:" what he did with the Joker.

Oh, Heath. :csad: I'm still sad he never got to see TDK in its entirety. Hopefully he did get to see the prologue, since it came out in December.

Nolan said in an interview that he had shown the Prologue to Heath and that Heath was very pleased with it. It sucks that he didn't get to see the whole thing though. Hopefully he got to see some of the dailies. Do actors get to watch dailies or is that strictly for the director and editors?

Probably depends on the director, editor, and actors. Dunno if Nolan is the type to share unfinished footage with people who aren't directly involved in working on it. Heath did say in another interview around that time that he hadn't seen any footage, that WB was really secretive about that sort of thing.

It's good he got to see at least the prologue though.

has anyone visited Heath Ledgers co owned bar resturaunt Five Leaves ?
