I don't know if anyone has seen this.

clearer look of his scars.

Nope.

After all, it is Heath behind the make up. To expect to not get some type of resemblance to himself throughout his playing of the Joker is kind of strange.

fair...but that line for some reason seems a bit...deeper than alot of the stuff weve heard...:)

I really don't think one single line I've heard The Joker say so far sounds anywhere close to Heath Ledger's natural speaking voice. His natural voice was very deep and low and Australian of course...his Joker voice is kind of nasal, like Truman Capote or something.

Wow... I've been wanting a clear look at the scars with no makeup for a while now... that's incredible. Now I'm almost certain that no SINGLE accident caused all of that damage.

And no, I didn't notice the voice having much to do with Ledger's actual... but the inflection was a lot like his normal speaking inflections from the interviews I've seen.

Those prosthetics are amazing... literally seamless.

Val Kilmer is happy pal Heath Ledger got to show off his acting talents in challenging roles before his untimely death - because now he'll be considered one of the greats.

b
The Doors star discovered a soulmate in Ledger but always worried the "interesting and successful" roles he played never showed his true talents.
But, thanks to Brokeback Mountain and the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, the late Aussie's legacy will be spot on.

Kilmer tells WENN, "I've known him for a number of years and there was a gravity to him that came up.

"It's tough, but when I think about him, in terms of the tragedy of his life ending, I'm happy that he got to do a couple of roles that matched what he was capable of because he always seemed to me an actor doing interesting and successful work, but he was better than some of those roles."

Former Batman Kilmer and the new Joker Ledger met up a month before the latter died from an accidental drug overdose in January and Kilmer still has fond memories of their last meeting.

He recalls, "He was very proud of having quit drinking. We were in a nasty smoke-filled club and I was drinking water and Heath's like, 'Hey, you're drinking water,' and I'm like, 'Yeah, you're drinking water too,' and he was excited about drinking water.

"He said he hadn't had a drink in about a year."

Good to to hear from Kilmer

there's a few instances where the Joker suddenly sounds very 'Ledger' I think.

we are tonights enterTAINMENT
I enjoy gunpowder, dynamite and gasOLIIINE!
and
very poor choice of words
I mean, what haaaappened?

these last two are more the phrasing of the entire sentence rather than pronunciation of the words, very typical Heath Ledger

:down That makes me believe in a hell and hope it's horrible.

The fact that people can be that way is beyond my understanding, but then again some people really are trashy beyond understanding, that just degrades them and their image, especially posting it for the world to see.

I think the "very poor choice of words" line was wonderfully delivered and sounds FARRR from how Heath actually sounds. The facial expression that goes along with that line is hilarious too. I've actually gotten pretty damn good at mimicking that voice I've watched trailers and stuff WAYYYYY tooooo much.

Wow. Not bad for Heath's Joker already placing no. 5 on a Best Movie Villains of All Time list on Moviefone's website. "Less cartoonish than 'Batman' villains past, Ledger's Joker is the darkest element of 'The Dark Knight.' He says he's the "better class of criminal" Gotham deserves -- and the caked-on clown makeup and disheveled appearance only add to Ledger's brilliantly disturbing portrayal ... sadly, the last role he completed before his untimely death."

Wow. Making the video of Joker dead from drugs overdose is disgusting & tasteless. People like this make me sick & seeing other laugh at this kind of thing is unacceptable. While I know we should all have a laugh & such, but at that video? Idiots. :whatever:

Says the man with less grasp of sentence structure than half the people on the board. Loverly. :o

Cause, we all know sentence structure is what makes someone with manners...Yup...

It's certainly one of many indicators, as I'm far more likely to take someone and their posts seriously if they're composed with any manner of intelligence - I do like how this threads gone from simple remembrance into full blown hero worship, though.

"If U laugh at that video, U are t0tally t@steless and an idiot! U B@stArd!"

:whatever:

TDK was screened for press last night and three major Australian papers had breathless and glowing reviews exclusively for the Joker. They're were only short little reviews like they rushed home and dashed them out for morning print while still pumped on adrenaline and awe.

I knew he was gonna be good but honestly I didn;t expect a reaction like this from mainstream press. Not at all. They all sound sincere and reasoned and not so much like rabid hyperbole you'd expect from fans or from people big noting homegrown Australian talent. I think it's really genuine,.

Hahaha, the sleeping pill video is ****ing hilarious. "Now I'm going to have to call his ****ing mother." Hahahahaha :D

At least I can spell. Shouldn't you say "lovely" instead of "loverly"? ;)

By the way, this isn't school. Go back to school & teach kids like you some kind of smartass who think he is so perfect. And the fact you resort to flaming people. Yeah you know how to debate all right, fanboy. :whatever:

I hope this was a joke.

D'ERROR!

And the fact you resort to flaming people. Yeah you know how to debate all right, fanboy. :whatever:

Debate what? Flame who? What are you talking about?

I hope this was a joke.
Here's something that's not a joke.....discuss Batman or whatever movie you want....but stop making derogatory remarks about other posters grammatical errors. If you feel some irresistable need to be rude and act superior over others....then go over to AICN.
