No time for love Dr. Jones!

^Love that line but it's actually "Dr.Jones, no time for love...."

Also love:

"Ha, ha, ha...nice try Lau Che!"
"Put the gun away sonny; or...Anything Goes!"

and my personal fav:

"The stones will be found................you won't muhahahahhha!"

I love how in the movies pretty much every one of Indy's bluffs end up getting called. Same thing happened with the Ark haha.

Even though I know the line above is the right one. I've become peer pressured to misquote it. Same thing with Shakespeare. :D

A rose by any other word would smell as sweet.

Alas, poor Yourik. I knew him, Horatio.

As for Indy. Temple of Doom is the most quotable, if ya ask me. Another reason why it's my favorite.

And let us not forget...

"Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory."

:indy: :indy: :indy:

While TOD is my least favorite of the original trilogy, that line is one of my favorite's in the series. It's right up there with a few other personal fav's

"Asps....very dangerous.....you go first."

"What's that?"
"The Ark of the covenant."
"Are you sure?"
"Pretty sure."

"How did you know?"
"She talks in her sleep."

and of course

"....Bad dates."

I love when Williams uses the 'Ark Theme' during that quote, ditto for him using it when it gets uncovered from it's crate in Indy 4 :awesome:.

I geeked out during that bit in the theater. I knew the Ark HAD to appear somewhere, but it was still a geekgasm moment.

I never expected the Ark to appear. I should have since Spielberg loves ROTLA so much he wouldn't be able to help himself.

It's just a cool thought that when you watch the end of Raiders you know in 20 years Indy is going to be in there.

I must say, silly of me, i never associated the end of Raiders with area 51 when i originally watched it :o.It did hit me like a to of bricks when i saw KOTCS and felt a bit stupid for not realizing it before

I'm with you. I guess I always assumed that the ark was in some warehouse in Washington, never gave it more thought.

BTW, since everyone is quoting favorite lines ... I always loved in TOD, shortly after Indy snaps out of the thuggee trance, and says "we're getting out of here ... All of us." Cut to scene of Indy kicking thuggee ***.

maybe it WAS in Washington but after what happened in Roswell in 1947 they moved the contents of that warehouse to the one in Nevada before Skulls took place?

IF they are going to make Indy 5, than it needs to be in the same tone and style as Raiders was and the script needs to be solid and Lucas needs to cut down the silly non sense that he included in Indy 4.

I mean Indy 5 can still be a fun film, but he needs to cut the unecessary stupid CGI stuff.

Also, add a love interest for Mutt and bring back SALAH DAMMIT!

NO MARION either!

well they need to at least have one or two scenes with marion it would be silly for her to not be around at all. at least opening of the film could start at home or what not and indy/mutt/etc.... secondary characters are about to go off on what ever adventure and marion is around.

I Didnt think spielberg was bad directing,

All of speilbergs movies for the last decade has had 2 things...a crappy hazy look to it...and a crappy ending. The man can still direct some of the most tense action scenes, but overall, he isn't the same director he once was.

I have the Indiana Jons Box set from a few years back. I was just wondering if they'd ever released the movies with the deleted scenes still in them? For example there's a scene after Short Round and Willie, and Indy witness the Thugee ritual and Indy goes off, Short Round is captured, and Willie can be seen escaping. I've seen pics of a scene where she makes it back to her room, but is the confronted by the Prime Minister. That's where it's revealed he's with the cult. Another scene i've seen pics of but not the scene itself, is from Indy 3 where Indy is spelling Jehovah, steps on the 'J' instead of the 'I' and the floor gives way, and there's a spider crawling up his leg. You can tell it was cut because, in the final cut you can see him brushing off his leg, but we just assume it's debris he's rushing off but it was actually a tarantula.

Has anyone seen these scenes....?

i'm pretty sure, at least hopeful, that deleted scenes will be on the blu ray release. the blu ray version of Star Wars will have deleted scenes so that's why i think Indy will as well.

I've never heard of those scenes, but would love to see them. Hopefully a Blu Ray box set is released in the near future.

I hope they exist. I've seen pictures of them in various media over the years, but never the scene itself.

yea it sucks when we hear/see images of things like that but they never surface. Like bttf original marty footage, we have now seen a little non audio footage of it. But man it would still be cool to see the whole footage of the other guy.

I've never seen these scenes or heard of them i dont think  (old age, sorry :o). Would be cool if they make it into a future boxset though.

Sorry to change the subject of deleted scenes but, wasnt there a rumor of an Atlantis story that Indy discovered? It was thought to be the Indy 4 plot for awhile but never happened. Any truth to it & that may be Indy 5 if ever made?

There's been many rumors of an Indy movie having Atlantis, though there's already been a game based on it. Though, Lucas has no problem retconning expanded universe things so that doesn't really matter.

I didnt know about the game using it. I wonder if Lucas would look at it as a possible plot if 5 is ever made. I know there are other books of Indy's adventures out there too.

Atlantis would have made for a cool movie or heck maybe journey to center of earth type of story would be neat. If another film does happen can't wait to see what plot they pick.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is one of the greatest PC games ever made, and is available on Steam. I doubt today's ******ed "FPS are the only games that are worth playing" crowd could stomach something that requires serious brain power though.
