Doubt it. The heavy Spielberg-an aspects in the script will be nothing new from him if he did this. On the other hand, it's an improvement for someone like Nolan who's been criticized a lot for being a "cold" director.

Even though these poster aren't 'downright amazing', they are 10x better than anything else for blockbuster hollywood; no blue/orange 9to an extent), no lineup/character mash-up, no large people/small people crap, etc...

At least they're very simple and have a breath of air to them.

I think Avengers still takes the cake for Photoshop placements that make no f***ing sense. Inception has the excuse that it's actually got different planes in it.

That part is disappointing, I was hoping for a one-sheet at least. But on the flip side all I can say is there's a lot of goodness we haven't seen yet from this movie.

The director is never really in charge of the marketing of a film, I believe someone like Nolan would have more of a say on what's to be released, but he certainly won't be micromanaging everything in the marketing department.

On a sidenote, these posters (in my opinion) are the best of any Nolan movie yet. Really hope marketing picks up though, especially outside the US, many people here haven't even heard about this movie.

I know many people like to place TDKR movie near the bottom of top movies by Nolan but I think TDKR is in the top four movies by Nolan.


I found it better than TDK and Prestige as TDKR has more heart and better developed story arc of the main protagonist.

I think Intersteller is one step ahead of TDKR, in terms of heart and emotion.
