That picture of Venom was better then the sanwich I just had from Wendys

wow, good job they didn't go with that concept art, it was horrible..

especially the one with the white nails...

It is way better than the one before. I just hope they don't give Venom the blue-&-red tint like TAS, I hated that.

The one with white nails? I've not seen one with that feature?

From what I can tell the design has merely evolved a little i.e. the arms are less ape like but it's pretty much the same as the concept imho.

this is a great picture i love how well he just blends right into the dark ceiling

Too bad these pics don't give us enough to start speculation over the plot (no matter how wrong we end up being).

Ah well, obsessive beggars can't be choosers ;).

Now if he would just never turn his back to us, it'd be almost perfect. Hate that he's still got the big round spider on his back.

two of those shots have different spider designs, the first one looks like it goes over his arms while the last few looks like they all fit under his arms, interesting...

still no patches on his arms, i've always felt they helped instead of keeping the entire thing really dark.

Imo, it looks like the top four legs go towards his shoulders, and in that one picture, he just has his arm twisted a different way.
I used to want the white patches too, but now I really don't care.
I just wish he got rid of the underarm webbing, when he has the symbiote suit.

Press Release:

For those watching closely over the past two episodes, the symbiote-induced black suit worn by The Spectacular Spider-Man has already undergone some evolutionary changes – and there are more coming in "Intervention," an all-new episode of The Spectacular Spider-Man premiering this Saturday, June 7 at 10:00 a.m. ET/PT on
CW4Kids.

The black suit, the result of an alien symbiote attaching itself to Peter Parker/Spider-Man, first appeared in the episode entitled "Persona." For that episode, the suit fairly replicated Spider-Man's red/blue suit into a black version with its classic web pattern, along with a spider emblem on his back in black with a white outline.

In the next episode, "Group Therapy," the chest emblem increased in size and changed slightly in shape – much like the comics black spider shape. In addition, the emblem on his back had a slight change in shape and was now all-white, and the classic Spider-Man suit web pattern began coming apart with the webs starting to unravel. In "Intervention," the black suit has fully evolved into the comics version of the black Spider-Man costume.

Producer/Supervising Director Victor Cook explained the reason for the evolution of the black suit from episode to episode.

"The symbiote's control over Peter isn't sudden, it progresses – and we wanted to show that aspect visually as well by having the black suit progress from classic web pattern to non webs," Cook said. "As the web unravels, so does Peter's control. Also, it was fun to for us to homage both the movie and comics versions of the black Spidey suit."

Kick @$$ pics and press release!!!

This appears to be in Tombstone's office. So, we may expect a final confrontation for this season... can't wait for that.

As much as I would love for Black Suit spidey to take on Tmbstone it was already revealed that the villain in this episode will be spidey himself (Red vs Black) and that picture looks like he is in the corner of the church tower like in the preview where he is in the corner and the symbiote starts to make a symbiotic web cacoon

Then again thet could be Tombstones office. i hope to God it is.

They always never mention big reveals or anything like that. Look at those past synopsises. Did The Uncertainty Principle's synopsis reveal Harry would be revealed to Spidey as GG? Or a better example, this episode's synopsis says nothing about Venom yet we see him this episode.

I think we could expect this.

Awesome:wow:. Classic Black Suit in action this Saturday. My hat goes off for you guys, keep up the good work.

But Tombstone is established as a regular character in this show. I think they don't need to stress his appearance in the synopsis. I hope that Symbiote will try to do something to Tombstone that Peter would regret later and run to the cathedral. Just like the Black Spidey had some moments with Jameson back in TAS. I think that Peter in overconfidence will try to straight things up with the Big Man. Maybe you're right, that's a church ceiling, but I also hope to God it's Tombstone's office.
