"Intervention" Episode 12 Discussion Thread

[Silver Spider]

The preview for Intervention looks very, very interesting. I have absolutely enjoyed the new animated series. But if there is one arc I'm looking forward to the most, it is the venom saga. And so far, I'm not disappointed.

Wasn't a fan of how they handled Brock in today's episode, but I know they'll treat his transformation well.

The Symbiote seemed very angry in that promo and I loved how Spidey takes off the suit at the bell tower.

looks like it's going to be a good ep. Can't wait till we get Venom!

The preview looks great, the episode looking like a straight up homage to WEB OF SPIDER-MAN #1.

There's no indication in the comics that Venom talk in some monster voice. So having Brock talk more normally isn't a huge departure.

um yes there is, Peter talks about how Venoms voice creeps him out because its got this double echo type thing where he hears Eddies voice as well as an altered monster voice

Actually there's an indication in some issues.
His comic balloons are stylized so his speech seems more aggressive and vicious. Like a beast.

They were married. So why would he come to MJ house and say Honey I'm Home. It seems out of place. They aren't even dating.
