Any theories on why Danny looks like a hobo?
Did he leave Kun Lun long ago and has been slowly making his way back to NY?

I wonder if Marvel will even go with the whole K'un-L'un only opens every X years for the show. Seems limiting for whenever they want to use that locale.
Well I saw someone point out he has an old ipod with him in those pictures. Presumably he has it on the trip with his parents and kept it during his stay at Kun Lun. So my guess is he's been making his way to NYC and once there, find someone who can confirm his identity.Any theories on why Danny looks like a hobo?

It also looks like they might be slightly changing his origin story. In the comics, Danny already had his costume after completing the Iron Fist tournament and left to America to seek revenge on K'un-L'un. Maybe on the show, Danny doesn't know about Harold killing his family and will spend part of the show learning about that. But that does make you wonder, when will Danny suit up?

Remember guys, this is a Netflix show. He's not getting the costume until the last 10 minutes of the 13th episode.
I imagine he took the long way home. Probably hiking and sailing on boats rather than taking a plane back. Everyone thinks he is dead so he probably doesn't have money for plane tickets and taxis.
He's had different costumes over the years though.Danny's costume in the comics is the ceremonial garb of Iron Fist. I don't think we should be made to wait until the final episode to see him in his gear.

Highly doubt he will have the open-chested funky collar type of look.
My question to add is why he's dressed like a hippy hobo,
and why Jessica Stroup's character is also wearing some very 70's looking gear...?
I showed the pictures to some friends and they thought the show was set in the past
maybe just playing up the characters 70's kung-fu movie origins?
Loving these wacky new pics. I'm getting a fish out of water "Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt" first season of Avatar Legend of Aang, vibe. I'm assuming/hoping this show will be the most light hearted out of all the Netflix Marvel show. I enjoyed DD and JJ but I think it's time for a bit of humor and levity. Hopefully this will deliver.
