That's honestly why I don't think she's making it. She's a character you could see turning good and then dying. On top of that, there seems to be a hint of a love triangle between her, Colleen Wing, and Danny Rand. Her dying solves the problem.

I think they'll want some of the supporting cast alive by the end. Especially since having Joy around will allow for someone to run Rand Inc while Danny is out and about superheroing, making storytelling easier.

You never know seeing that longtime supporting characters like Ben Urich and Rafael Scarfe were killed off really early, but I think Joy's story will be full circle, seeing Danny as a good guy at the end and working with him.

With Misty possibly going to Colleen's martial arts classes post Luke Cage I'd be interested to see if that carries through into Iron Fist and we see them team up or at least have some interactions together.

It could easily be some reshoots or pickups. Or they could've started filming some of his Defenders material already.

I think it's most likely for Iron Fist. Yes, it could be reshoots or maybe something new they decided to add that leads into The Defenders.

I think they said Defenders starts shooting 3 weeks after NYCC. So it could be something just like that.

But hopefully this means we will see Defenders set photos soon.

Jeph Loeb is just talking about how he's going to keep some inane promise to introduce the Iron Fist actor to Clark Gregg, not introduce Danny Rand to Phil Coulson. It's just meanginless soundbytes for click bait articles.

I don't think anyone would dislike the idea. But the story annoys me like it's dangling the carrot in front of you like they are going to meet, but it's a bait and switch because he's talking about Clark Gregg meeting Finn Jones and not the other way around.
