Yes, it's *****ey to point out similarities in comics-related properties, which are known to have so many similarities since they first started. It's not that serious, man.

Decent trailer, there are certainly elements to like and the hint of crouching tiger/hidden dragon action points to it standing out as something a bit different to other shows. We shall see but hopefully it will turn out good, maybe not Daredevil good but at least Luke Cage good.

The trailer was lit

Jessica Jones isn't really a fighter like the other Netflix Defenders characters. Her show is more of a detective show with a character that happens to have superpowers. I think the lack of action scenes is understandable in regards to her show.

Luke Cage needs to hire some action scenes with more imagination.

I wanted to see more of Cage busting through walls, hitting people with large objects and being more like a one man tank.

You're right about jessica jones she wasnt really a martial artist at all she was just superstrong. But I did thnk that the cop's fight scenes in JJ were cool tho.

It's another good point. When I was watching the first season of Arrow, it basically seemed like the setup was sort of turning Green Arrow into Batman rather than Green Arrow/Oliver Queen.

Rich white guy who learned super skills and returns from overseas to fight crime in his home city is nothing new. Everyone from robin hood to pulp hero the shadow has had a similar story.

Batman and arrow didn't invent it.

It's true, which is why all the Arrow stuff sort of annoys me.

Based on the footage, it definitely looks like first season will push Colleen/Danny. I don't recall those two ever being an item in the comics.

Other than Misty Knight, the only other notable Marvel character I recall Iron Fist having a relationship with was Spider-Woman, and that was mostly done as a gag.

It's like they start off all sickening and sugary like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt; getting tattoos inspired by each other and such. Then it all goes bad...like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

I do see a few proto costumes in the trailer. There's a green outfit with a handkerchief on the right, there's the hoodie version on the bottom right. I think the interesting one is the one on the left. It's sort of similar to my suggestion for the costume. I would have preferred to reverse the colors, though. Obviously, it doesn't solve the lack of mask. I think that costume with a mask would be ideal:

Was Daredevil's costume shown in any trailers? Are people seriously expecting to see Iron Fist's in the trailer?

With all the pics recently I was hoping and expecting a trailer so it was great to see a trailer. It's gonna be nice actually seeing someone with a super power that isn't durability or strength, like I could actually see his powers. Hope the fighting is as good as it looks.

With a mask, the one on the left absolutely qualifies as a costume. After all, Danny Rand's outfit is an outfit from K'un Lun. The hoodie, the pajamas, etc. all look like his modern outfits. Really, it's just missing the mask.
