With a mask, the one on the left absolutely qualifies as a costume. After all, Danny Rand's outfit is an outfit from K'un Lun. The hoodie, the pajamas, etc. all look like his modern outfits. Really, it's just missing the mask.

I am hoping for some of the best action sequences from the Marvel shows. Marvel Netflix shows always have a scene with the hero taking out a group in confined area. Iron Fist should have a badass one.

This is the fourth show in a series of very successful ones. It's about a man who knows martial arts and can summon fire with his hands. I think it's okay to show a green and yellow costume at this point.

I think he'll get some sort of costume toward the end of the season the way Daredevil did. It makes sense that someone so famous would need a disguise.

If it's some lame copout costume, I will not accept it. I'm taking a hardline stance on this.

Good trailer. Questionable music choice, but the action looks promising. Of course one would hope the show about a martial artist would have excellent action.

I assume the people clamoring for a costume aren't yearning for the high collar? A mask is well and good, but that collar is just ridiculous.

I didn't realize I had to completely specify everything because context from previous parts of our conversation get forgotten. That being said, that outfit you describe is one he's worn quite a bit in the comics.

Eh, I'm not really bothered, but then I know next to nothing about Iron Fist. This show will be my introduction to him, and I assume it will be the same for most people.

Would be nice if he actually gets a proper costume though. It could be weird if DD is the only Defender all geared up

I'm not hung up on it, costume wise-- it remains to be seen whether he is "out" as Iron Fist or not. After all, in the promo, he openly does martial arts against the security guards. And while it could be publicly spun in-universe that Danny learned martial arts but is not doing vigilante stuff, we don't know for sure yet.

There needs to be lots of fight scenes but also plenty of character development interactions. I hope that the corporate intrigue doesn't get boring.

I wonder if the Hand is involved this time, or another East Asian crime faction? We get to see Madame Gao again.

Daredevils costume was only shown in trailers and promo materials for season two, not for season one. We only saw it revealed in marketing for season one on the same day it premiered, and that was just a short clip on Twitter.

Well I suppose there could be numerous reasons: better money perhaps?
She want's to keep a low profile? In MMA everyone would know her name.
Maybe she likes challenges, such as fighting numerous people at the same time. That would never fly in a proper MMA fight.
