I'm assuming " :cmad: " is because they have seen these episode too but they aren't allowed to talk yet.

Anyways, Wilding also said that:
"Finn Jones is going to be the breakout star of 2017. This dude is awesome. #IronFist"
https://***********/Josh_Wilding/status/831326263734366208

"Colleen Wing is such a badass. #IronFist"

I'd imagine it's because Wilding's not supposed to be talking about it yet, but is doing so anyway.

Well he did say he hadn't been given a date, although I think most people who've watched will wait until the first reviews are released before tweeting any thoughts about the show.

It will be interesting to see if the majority agree with JW. I know some have been skeptical, even critical, of Finn's casting. Would be nice to see him exceed some critics' expectations.

Late to the party, but I loved the trailer. That money shot at the end!! The Iron Fist unleashed! Can't wait to binge the hell out of this.

So, any guesses as to who Ramon Rodriguez is playing? MCU Exchange think he's Davos but I'm thinking he's Carlos LaMuerto aka Black Tarantula.

I honestly, really feel like this show is going to flop regardless of quality and reviewers are going to go out of their way to make it seem worse than it is. It won't matter if Marvel max out their special effects budget, reviewers will say that it looks cheesy and fake. It won't matter if every single actor puts on their A game, the press will call the acting wooden. Critics have already made up their mind about Iron Fist. The show is going to flop due to bad buzz no matter what and NOTHING can win them over.

Ummm... I think that's an exaggeration, to say the least. Doctor Strange also received quite a bit of criticism and it still ended up being a success, both with critics and at the box office.

I'm sure there will be some critics who don't like IF or are already biased against it but I think it's safe to say that there's been more excitement for the show than hate. Even the majority of the people "roasting" it will still watch, so ultimately, it doesn't matter.

Lets also remember that this is a Netflix show. Saying it will "flop" doesn't exactly apply here. But I believe JJ is the least viewed of the Marvel series thus far and I don't see IF doing worse than JJ.

Well someone on tumblr said that his identity has already been spoiled via Netflix subtitles. He's apparently playing Bakuta, who is the head of the South American branch of the Hand...in the comics, that is. Who knows if that's exactly who he's playing on the show. But it's an interesting revelation, regardless.

Anyone can spin things to make something look negative if they really want to, especially if you use twitter as the barometer. I could go back and make it look like DD was getting roasted if I only showed the negative tweets...

Even though I haven't liked these trailers nearly as much as the other Netflix shows, particularly DD's gems, I'd be shocked if this show flops. Certainly with audiences to any severe degree. It may be the lowest rated of the Netflix shows among critics, but what that actually looks like is anyone's guess.

Well according to LW, Iron Fist ranks right at the top of the list of Marvel/Netflix shows, at least the first 6 episodes. I suspect that most CB sites will agree with him. The mainstream sites may be more mixed. We will have to wait and see.

But yes, there's always going to be a segment of social media who will be critical of these shows for one reason or another, probably a little more so with IF because there was a campaign for Danny to be Asian American and obviously, that didn't happen. Hence, the saltiness and criticism. I understand. We need to talk about the importance of inclusion and representation but I don't think the criticism will have much of an impact on this show's success.

Devin Faraci claimed on Twitter that Daredevil was getting lots of bad buzz and then derided anyone who disagreed with him or called him out on it.

I don't get it why is it all that needs to be said

Poor guy, he seemed to back himself into a corner with his anti-dark DCEU rants, so when Marvel put out a TV-MA show on Netflix he couldn't very well come out and embrace it with open arms. Watching him dance around that conflict of interest was at least entertaining, especially when he begrudgingly came around to praise the show in season 2.

Because Buzzfeed is trash. lol It's often mocked and called out for stealing ideas from other sites and people on social media and creating posts out of things that are said on twitter. Not to be taken seriously, basically.

Conan O'Brien has a segment on his show called "Buzzfeed is Running out of Lists."

It's very funny.

But after he said that, review after review came out praising and lauding the show. There basically wasn't a single bad review. Where was all the so-called bad buzz? Who was hating on the show?

ok thanks

Good question, his sources were usually pretty good....
