I think the camera work and editing are still poor, which is exactly why I can tell the choreography is poor. Why I can tell he is so slow.

Into the Badlands make Nick Frost look like an all time bad ass.

The funny thing is that Nick Frost didn't even attend the martial arts boot camp the rest of the cast did.

Frost is just natural good at choreography supposedly.

I remember laughing a little bit the first time I saw him fighting, thinking it was like how some kung fu films will have anyone, no matter their sex, age, or size, come off as top fighters. And of course, Frost has had some experience in his past work.

I will wait until after the first few days of it being out, the days I take a day off to binge Marvel-Netflix are gone.

If I hear the above is true, I will take my sweet time checking it out.

If I hear its still very good, I guess I'll check it out sooner rather than later, but regardless they are just kinda proving to me they don't know what they are doing.

I gotta say, I hope that mask looks nothing like the final mask Danny ends up wearing, assuming he gets one. That mask looks silly. I honestly would prefer maskless to him wearing that full-time. But that said, I do want him to wear a mask. Just one that looks way less silly.

Personally, I think it's about time they shift away from the 13-episode seasons. Pretty much every single one of the Netflix shows besides maybe DD has suffered from pacing issues. 10 is the magic number here. I hope it's true for all the Netflix shows moving forward.

I actually don't mind the 10 episode count here. Usually these shows are 2-3 episodes too long, so I think that might be a good thing. It also explains how this can be done before Daredevil, which started shooting earlier I believe.

If it is a mask he is going to wear full-time, I think it needs some alterations and some work. I think the literal translation of the comic costume just doesn't work. Maybe remove/lessen the eye shadow on it, change the shade of yellow, etc. I think it needs work to be a full-time mask.

Yeah, I really really wanted the mask, but man... something just seems off. Not sure what it is. Maybe it's because everything else is simply white. Maybe it would look better if he had the rest of the costume? A while back I saw someone suggest something similar to his Avengers Assemble S4 look where it was similar to DD's cowl. It's too bad there's no way for Melvin to make Danny one. I would imagine that would look a bit better than that cloth version. Is it bad that I think Matt's gray scarf in the Defenders looks better?!?!

People keep saying that, but everybody forgets an incredibly important part Danny needs that Matt doesn't: the eye holes.

That's where the problem comes in. It looks fine when the character doesn't need to actually see out of it. But when you cut eye holes in there, it makes the design weird AF on a simple cloth mask.

I want Danny to have a mask, but it needs some molding to it. Not just a cloth he throws over his face.
