If I'm employed by Disney, I'm deleting all old tweets and maybe Twitter all together.
Well there's no need for that. Either they get someone else to run their Twitter accounts, or better still, don't feel the need to have to post or comment about everything.
Most actors, directors and public figures do normally have the sense to do that though. There should be a certain professionalism about not engaging too much with the public, and certainly not getting into any debate.
Josh Trank, when he was working on Fant4stic, got into it too much with fans and the public in general. He acted unprofessionally, and also made comments about Fox too. Eventually his Twitter account was shut down.
Gunn should've maintained a certain professional distance. No inciting others to do certain things, and no posting every single thought that comes into his head, especially when he's got a dark cellar full of thoughts.
Just like Trump shouldn't be spending his time on Twitter and getting into it with everyone because of his thin skin. That's just not becoming of a president. But try telling that to him.

If Trump had married into the royal family, you can imagine he'd be bringing disgrace on the Queen with all of his tweets.
Now obviously Disney is not the same as the Queen, but Gunn should've acted in a way that was becoming and appropriate as a Disney/ Marvel representative now. And someone should really have advised him to delete all those old tweets. Perhaps they did, and he refused?
