James Wan WILL direct Aquaman

It will be a mistake for DC to loose Wan. He's had such passion for this and the pitch sounds pretty good. Warner brothers must learn they are not the experts when it comes to adapting comic book movies and they should listen more

He's pretty cute. Not sure what his tweets mean though. It sounds like he's still doing it but maybe he can't say anything at the moment because of contract reasons

Jokes on them - Suicide Squad's the only comics (other than DKR) I've read and enjoyed from DC.

I suspect the origin of these rumors, had they been true, would've been WB having a kneejerk reaction to the criticisms of BvS and thus exerting more control over production...driving off Wan etc etc.

I find it amusing how people actually think he was going to quit after he gave a interview a week ago saying how pumped he was for the project and that it will be his own take and interpretation. Wan said he is obviously really enjoying the process.

I think WB actually put more pressure on Grahame-Smith cause he's a newcomer and doesn't really know how to do anything unlike Wan who is a big money maker for WB already.

LOL

That guy is a troll, not only he's been wrong many times before, but also insults people that dare to criticize him, he's a classless *****e. People should ignore him, he's not reliable.

This movie is going to be one of the hardest to do because of the water element, Atlantis and all the SFX involved. I wish James Wan the best, he seems to be a very nice guy and has the talent to pull it off.

Agreed, it's best to ignore him.

Yeah, Aquaman is the hardest movie to pull off. It needs someone with talent and passion, cannot think of anyone more suited for such a movie than Wan.

Nice to see Conjuring 2 getting stellar reviews so far. 92% on rt with the first 13 critics.

This is a great manip. Love how he is smiling! It relates to the lighter tone that Wan was talking about as well!!!...

I'm glad that the The Conjuring 2 is coming out this weekend.

One: Because it looks like a good time.

Two: James now gets to focus on Aquaman

I expect some of his horror elements to seep in here to at least some degree coughTheTrenchcough.

I hope he also incorporates cthulu-like monsters as his horror expertise could really make them especially horrific and scary/creepy.

God, it's like a kindergartner and two 8th graders.

I really can't wait to see what James Wan will do with Black Manta.

I'm genuinely excited to see what James Wan does with this movie. I was born in a city of seafarers (Salvador, BA) and our Orixa or Patron Saint is a mermaid. It's some very cool ****.

I'd love for Wan to take a crack at a true Lovecraft adaptation.

Well, given Warner Bros' work, here's hoping that Wan is allowed to continue crafting his vision with Johns on Aquaman with little studio interference.

That's all we can ask for at this rate. WB seems to be ruining everything.
