I've just been catching up on the filming and pics thread, I really like the look they are going for with Electro, is it based on any of the newer comic book versions?

I predict they're definitely going for the Stuart Immonen Electro.

I remember this. When Jean Grey switched Wolverine and Spidey's brain. One of my favorite stories in the series.

This is part of the reason why I think Brian Michael Bendis writes one of the best Teenaged Spidey stories around.

Although he himself said he couldn't squeeze out more than three issues for this story arc ^ lol

I loved his work on USM, right up until around when he killed off Gwen. Ockneto and werebeast-MJ were just eye-roll worthy.

But the first eight or so years of USM were golden. It has some of my favorite Spidey moments in it.

Ahh I just finished Clone Saga. Haven't gotten any farther. Yeah I mean it's definitely changed somewhere down the line but I'm still enjoying it so far. Like you said, not as good as the first few TPBs though.

I feel the same way(I'm around the early Part of the Miles Morales era). To me he, Mark Millar, Warren Ellis, Johnathan Hickman were some of the best writers on the ultimate line(there are a few others but all I know is Jeph Loeb is far from one of them). When it comes to Ultimate Spider-man superhero team up my top 5 are iron man, Nick Fury, Hulk, Fantastic Four, Daredevil and Wolverine...

But enough of my "how much I love the Ultimate Universe" ramblings. Let's talk about Jaime Electro.

To me he, Mark Millar, Warren Ellis, Johnathan Hickman were some of the best writers on the ultimate line(there are a few others but all I know is Jeph Loeb is far from one of them). After seeing Django, I'm like man, alright, this guy can act. Now it's all up to TASM2's story and script. I have zero doubts for Jamie. I think he'll make one bada** villain.

I found about him through the Jaime Fox show and Ray(I was playing Ray Charles in a school wax museum type project so I figured that would help in my portrayal.)

That's awesome. Yup that's what he's known for and yet I haven't seen that one ha. Seen parts of Collateral though. But Django is one if my all time favs. They're all so good in that.

Thanks, I know people use that alot but calling him an "diverse actor" is really an understatement. He really developed his skills over the years.

I am interested to see what his costume looks like as well as how the power is realized visually, I'm even more excited to see Rhino though lol, that big rig chase with him and Spidey even before he gets the suit looks like it could be amazing!

I was hoping for Electro's costume to be green workman's overalls, it would make sense given that he's an electrician - and through various tears, we could see yellow padding underneath which mimicked the pattern from the comics.

Nobody can fill a role like Jamie Foxx can. Well, maybe Johnny Depp. But nobody else! An excellent Electro, in my opinion.

Looking at the new set pics I think your idea of visible hydraulics is a definite possibility as I'm expecting a mech type design.

I'm hoping for a glimpse at that chase in the first trailer.
