The grills have been a huge surprise to me. I was on-board with it fairly early on, but I didn't expect it to have a persistent impact on his look. His grin looks grotesque (in a sickly good way), only amplifying the monster within. Absolutely love it.

Chemical bath scene looked epic, folks, excuse my ignorance, is it cannon that Harley was bathed in chemicals? This is new to me, i'm more Superman orientated.


This film will be awesome, it will do well. It's like expendables meets Heat and Alice in wonderland all at once.

The hair dye suggest that she's already been Harley.

Its her hair dye and the dyes from her and his clothes. The acid has almost completely eaten away his shirt.

Also, prio to this trailer I wasnt sold on Croc's design, but they've done some cgi enhancements on the details of the makeup and scales and he looks really great now.

Actually, if that's the hair dye bleeding in, that means she must've been wearing the hair dye and makeup prior so maybe this is done later on, thus giving it still the possibility of Joker's tats being removed? They don't bother me but for those still looking for hope I think it's still there lol

The Joker shots were undoubtedly the best shots in the trailer. It made me so gleeful. We finally got Joker in a tux. Bless you Ayer.

Leto looks so damn terrifying. I'm loving this performance more and more.

What people think is the Joker's skin being eaten away, I'm pretty sure it's just his purple shirt eaten away and torn to shreds. But honestly, I cannot wrap my head around the chronological order of events here.

Ayer did say he wanted to get a sense of "history" with the character's look. Who knows? Maybe he does take a bath every now and then to "reset."

For the sake of speculation, what's the general consensus?

1.) Joker is a pale tattooed psycho path who dyes his hair green and wears lipstick and then, alongside Harley Quinn takes a bath in a vat of chemicals to become 100% permawhite?

2.) He is already permawhite and is bathing Harley (who is already deranged at this point given the makeup and hair dye) so that she officially becomes is better half?
