Are you warming up to the grills? I love how it's always highlighted thanks to its reflection. Compare it to this:

Every individual tooth is always perfectly visible, where otherwise it would've blended in with everything else.

I'm sold on the teeth. I mean look at that grin.

Have to admit, I'm hoping that's mostly just soot on his face, or superficial burns. I'm not sure how I feel about the prospect of a Joker with half of his face scarred. Didn't care for it in Endgame either.

He kind of looks like a mix of Batman End Game's and The Man Who Laughs Joker here. He looks great.

Honestly yes. They don't bother me any more. They do accentuate the smile nicely the more I see of them.

I agree, this is the first shot in the trailers that really screamed Joker to me, in terms of his look. There were a couple others that were OK, but when I saw this clip I said to myself, I see it there. Still hate the tats (mainly damaged) but regardless of what I think of his look, I've never doubted that Leto was going to give a good performance, and so far from the trailers I see a very good performance coming.
