I'm getting a Dini vibe from Joker and especially Harley, that I really like.

I love this photo.

Loving the harlequin shapes on Harleys dress. And seeking Jokers grills and effed up gums - given that his tats seem to tell a story about events in his criminal career I still think the tat of the smile on his hand is in memory of the smile he had before Bats knocked his teeth out.

More cool image of the Joker. The action figure looks very good too.

Are we still subscribing to this idea that Batman knocked his teeth out? In all the close-ups I've seen, it appears that he has enamel through the designs cut out of the grill. In other words, I thought he was wearing them simply for fashion and not out of necessity. I gave up the Batman-knocked-his-teeth-out notion as an uninformed fan theory log ago.

Ayer said there was a specific reason for the Joker's teeth that existed within canon. There's no precedent for him wearing tooth jewelry in the comics, but there is a precedent for him getting his teeth knocked out. Yet they always get magically fixed.

Either he had metal grillz cemented onto the remnants of his old teeth, or he's wearing full-blown dentures stylized with metal bits. That's my theory, and it plays right into Ayer's idea of putting history on Joker's body.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. I really liked that theory when we saw the first picture released, but subsequent photos have seemed to dispel it.

Ayers comments & The fact that joker wearing them in arkham is enough to convince me that they're some sort of "permanant" dental implant rather than a fashion accessory.
Either way, I love the way they look and how they make him talk.

There's nothing wrong with the Joker's hair as it currently is, imo.
