Jared Leto IS The Joker - - - - - Part 14

Haven't been looking forward to this movie at all so haven't really seen anything since yesterday when I gobbled up all the trailers and tv spots, but Joker looks ridiculous. I hope I love him because I've been trying to find a way to get interested in DC movies again. Can't believe how fans aren't as skeptical of this as I am, particularly after how Luthor was handled.

Joker with a specific tat or two is potentially interesting. But all over the place like a pro tat artist? Including the face and a distracting script text on his forehead? The grills and pimp extensions? Joker has always been loud but not nearly this deafening. This whole character direction just seems obnoxious. What is happening!?

:whatever: you guys are killing

 agreed

Joker doesn't really shine unless he's up against Bats anyway. Everybody else is just something to pass the time between their bouts. That's probably how he feels anyway, even if they're metahuman.

Part of my issue with the Joker's look is it doesn't allow much flexibility for other filmmakers down the road. This isn't a costume that can just be changed in the next film. Ayer gave him permanent physical attributes.

If this was a one-off appearance, I could sort of wrap my head around it. But for a shared universe? It's gonna suck for filmmakers who don't particularly want a tattooed, metal-toothed Joker.

Great point Boom.

Sucks we're stuck with this Joker and Luthor for the forseeable future. Not saying J will definitely be as bad as Luthor, since I haven't seen the film yet, obviously.

He decides to get false teeth.

He gets in a fight with Batman and has a giant scar over the damaged tattoo.

Keep him fully clothed for all of the movie.

Problem solved.

These Joker scenes from the trailers will NOT be in the movie..

I hope there's enough Will Smith to compensate it...

Take it up with Ayer. This was the version he wanted. Fans on twitter seem to love Will in the movie. Still early of course...people loved Lex..

If anything should have just made the movie longer. These movies are 2hrs 15 mins min now days anyway.

Hope dies last, maybe there's some extended edition... (((

I guess it's good that from the clips it seems that Will didn't ignore the comics and play the character in a different direction. The funny thing about Eisenberg is that some people say that his Lex is basically the birthright version even though Jesse said that he read some of the comics only to say that it was pointless so he stopped reading them.

Maybe I can keep my hope alive for a Mad Love movie.

Hello Mr. Overdramatic
It's my turn now. Witnessing people go ballistic over BvS had an effect on me. Hope and dreams are collapsing. Looks like Ayer and WB are true hacks, that cut the coolest stuff from their movies.

You're joking right?
Tell me you're joking.

I get that we're all feeling a bit antsy but seriously guys, just relax. If you don't like it then you don't like it but at least wait until you've seen the movie to make that assessment.
