We can be friendly. Just don't refer to me as stupid **** like "fam" haha.

With the number of infractions you have for being rude to posters....I would think you would at least try to not get infracted again for your bad attitude to them. Learn to play nice and be civil.....or you may not be here too much longer. I'm saying that because if I wanted to there are several different posts by you on the last page that are infraction worthy.

I don't mind that Joker isn't a big focus on the film, in fact the Squad should be the main focus.

My issues lay partly in his performance, characterisation and the fact that yes, his lack of screen time does have some impact on his staying power with myself. He didn't leave a great impression on me after seeing it, I felt The Joker was a tad two-dimensional and that The Joker I was seeing was a gangster/mob boss in a Jokerish appearance (still have issues with his look myself), not the actual Joker. I felt Leto had a few spotty moments of over-acting or doing his best to seem crazy but ended up feeling a tad forced or try-hard. It didn't feel too natural to me compared to say someone like Ledger.

I may be alone in my thoughts after the film and that's perfectly fine, but that's my impression on his performance a day after seeing it.

Nice to get some feedback at last from a fellow hypester who's seen it

Crap. :csad: Well, got my tickets and I hope I enjoy him. hopefully he gets a chance to shine in the Batman movie.

I'll be seeing it again on Sunday with a friend like I was originally going to but I feel if Leto is given more room in a future film to explore the character then we could end up with something better than what we got.

It's a shame that the "bye bye" got cut if that's what I heard correctly. I liked that little moment.

Jared is freaking fantastic, I really can't wait to see more of him. He had more funny moments in the brief time he was in than some of the more main characters. Speaking of Joker is definitely only in for like 10min of screentime. Makes me sad, but he does command the scenes he's in and his presence is felt. The flashbacks are ridiculously quick and I really hope an extended version comes out which expands upon them. That now infamous "I can't wait to show you my toys" scene is in the movie, BUT that quote isn't... and it ends pretty briefly. I wonder if it had to be cut for PG13 or what but it seems like chunks are missing here and there. Anyway I thought Jared was brilliant, love love love his Joker. You don't even notice the tats besides his hand one for obvious reasons.

And yeah, no buh-bye scene or Harleen motorcycle/slap scene but I like what I assume is the alternative to the former despite how cool that scene looked. Hopefully BluRay deleted scenes come of it

Of all the characters to have their scenes cut, Joker is literally the last I'd have expected. Mind boggling.

I'm really pumped to just see this Joker go at it with Batfleck down the road.

Worried now that Joker having a.very light role will hurt word of mouth..

Just don't get how David Ayer could hype the Joker all year and then cut his screen time down. In fact why hype a character so much that you know is only in the movie 10 mins. I know he's trying to hype the film, but still..

Damn, I'm surprised they cut that much of Joker's screentime. Can't say it doesn't disappoint me slightly.

Yeah. To be fair in regards to the flashbacks, they go by extremely quick for everyone... definitely room for expansion there, I didn't really like how they paced those. Really could've built up the characters more.

I guess the silver lining is whenever he does show up next, it wouldn't have been for overexposure like say, Magneto. Better to anticipate more than to beg for less.

I know they said Ayer's cut won and it's what we are getting, but, if they did an extended cut for home release that would be great.

I wonder if people complaining about how "slow" BvS and MoS were that they sped things up.

Right? I think the tension would be great. I'm dying to see a flashback of relating to losing Robin. It is just way too easy to see Batfleck pummeling Leto's Joker repeatedly in the face as he laughs himself sick.

A flashback scene of that would be pretty damn awesome  And brutal for sure.

Yeah that whole segment of the film was just really poorly paced and rubbed me the wrong way from the get go.

Im gonna be sad if a lot of Joker stuff was cut, BUT it is a Suicide Squad movie and if Mr.J had to be cut a little to make more room for the Squad then thats fine by me.

I think someone else said that the only Joker scene to be cut was the motorcycle chase and the harley slap. The other stuff cut was just a couple seconds.

If the Joker is an underwhelming character in this film, and I'm afraid he might be, the blame has to mainly go on Ayer. Seems like besides the voice/laugh and some mannerisms, Ayer had full say in creating this tattoo obsessed, crime/cartel leader that relates to his other cop movies too much...

Yeah, I doubt he literally has only 10 minutes of screen-time.

A couple of seconds can mean a lot.. Just look at the UC.
